Bernie is going to be a distant memory by November. Unless he pulls some shit like not endorsing Hillary, her unlikely loss would be her own failure.

BernUnit being his voters, not him

if she were to lose, do you not think it would be by a margin small enough for stubborn youths to have closed?

A candidate isn't entitled to 100% of her party's voters. There's usually a 10% chunk of them that vote for the other party.

For example, According to the 2008 exit poll, Democrats who voted for Clinton in the primaries split 83-16 for Obama-McCain

When we talk about the "center" it's not just independents who don't register, there's the purple mix that can be swayed to vote for the other party on really fickle reasoning. Again, look at WI electing both Russ Feingold and Scott Walker.

16% were probably all old white racist democrats.

That's more of a turnout issue though.

last primaries of significance before Gotterdammerung on June 7th. looks like Kentucky will more or less be a delegate tie (Bernie up by 0.6% with 14% in), and it would be semi-shocking if he lost a quite white and extremely liberal Oregon, especially given his unfettered dominance in neighboring Washington, so he should emerge from tonight as the clear net winner.

the results do not alter his mathematical doom of course, but it does reaffirm the notion wide swaths of the Democratic Party (both primaries are closed today) continue to reject Hillary in favor of Bern's economic populism, a faultline Donald will clearly try to exploit.

Bernie wins in states where lots of young and/or white voters are the majority. Everywhere else he tends to lose. I wouldn't call that "wide". It would be wider if he were on the GOP side as that is a huge part of their electorate.

The videos coming out of Nevada are freaking crazy. People cursing and throwing chairs and stuff. Looked like a Trump Rally.

Well, I mean, what happened in Nevada was some borderline GoP levels of myopic bullshit.

There's a common theme in what happened in Nevada and the Trump rallies that make the news cycle for this kind of behavior.

the Democratic party is still 50%+ white and the 18-29 bracket is by far their most favorable age grouping. it's wide enough to be of concern.

truly it was an ignominious violation of democracy for the clear winner of a primary to recieve the majority of delegates
