The videos coming out of Nevada are freaking crazy. People cursing and throwing chairs and stuff. Looked like a Trump Rally.
Implying that Republican primary voters would vote for a socialist.

If the rules were ignored in order to provide a more favorable result for Hillary after being beat at their own game at the county level conventions, I'd be pretty pissed too. What is a more complicated situation is being peddled as a "Sanders' supporters are violent" narrative, which is unfortunate because it's not going to help them make the case for party unity.

if Bernie won a primary by 5% and received a lesser share of pledged delegates because of internal party maneuvering during a state convention Sanders' supporters would be livid

they really ought just embrace the hypocrisy and admit the source of their anger is that he's losing and not the result of any violation of a consistent value set

I'm all for getting rid of arcane delegate selection rules and the caucus process in general, but I think once the rules are set they shouldn't be changed mid-process, particularly with a contentious voice vote.

a straight popular vote would forestall any of these issues

I think its a little bogus that people are "elected" to show up at caucuses and are chosen based on who they "say" they support. Then they can miraculously change their support the very second after they are chosen as a delegate. Bernies actually "gained" quite a few delegates based on these secondary caucuses that previously were "Hilary" delegates, either because they changed their "support" or "didn't show up". No system is perfect. I think delegates who choose someone support should be bound to it. But here we are.

I don't know if "all" caucuses are this way or only "some" of them. Either way, being able to lie about who you support to get nominated and change your vote is pretty shady either way.

Nope, bernie needs to win every remaining state at 60%+ to win.

He needs more than that when you take into account states like Jersey that hes clearly going to lose by a large amount. Right now doing the math Sanders would have to win between 66-67% of all remaining delegates to overtake Clinton. 67% of remaining delegates takes her by 6 points.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is on CNN claiming that Sanders supporters are threatening violence against Roberta Lange's daughter.

The manufactured hysteria is hilarious. I love election season. /s

Louisville is very black. Even if it is a college town that should favor Bernie.

These Oregon results so far are a lot closer than I thought they would be. I expected 10 points.

Man... that Sanders speech... Bernie, eventually you are going to have to prepare people. He did a complete 180. He's targeting Clinton again, and the DNC... and claiming the DNC is preventing the peoples voice from being heard.

He also said he'll be damned if he lets Trump be the one to win with working class voters so... take your pick on how you want to view it?

"This is a citizen of the United States of America and I just wanted to let you know that I think people like you should be hung in a public execution to show this world that we won't stand for this sort of corruption," an unidentified male caller said on the message, provided to CNN and other news outlets. "I don't know what kind of money they are paying to you, but I don't know how you sleep at night. You are a sick, twisted piece of s--- and I hope you burn for this! .... You cowardless b---, running off the stage! I hope people find you."
One text message read: "We know where you live... where your kids go to school/grandkids. We have everything on you."
