He seems to have leveled off in the net -20 to 25% range though, though that could obviously change in the months to come. Also obligatory "national polls don't really matter etc etc"

He was obviously going to get a bump as people concede they have to make a deal with the devil in order to prevent Clinton. The same thing will happen for Clinton when Bernie finally drops out. To what degree is anyone's guess.

I don't think it matters too much what Hillary says about foreign affairs given her fairly bland to dismal record as Secretary of State, depending on your political prism. While Trump will certainly attack her personally, just as she and her cohorts do to him, he can certainly eviscerate her on her record and will no doubt do so. Betting odds still have Hilary winning the election, but it won't be because of anything she's actually done or because the nation really thinks she's fit for the job; it's just that she's likely to be the least vomit-inducing candidate in a pool of puss and excrement.

Oddly, that seems enough for many people....

If you have trouble making it out, a guy is getting attacked for supposedly being a Trump supporter. Another person comes in and declares "He's one of us." Everyone then engages in a celebratory "Bernie Bernie" chant

Well according to local news (I live about 25 minutes from San Jose) the vast majority of the violence came from the anti trump crowd.

That was my point. It's been the same at all of these protests/riots. Say what you will about Trump's rhetoric, but his supporters aren't the ones attacking people and burning American flags in the street.

Let's not get carried away, Trump supporters have punched protesters in the face and shit too (or beat the shit out of homeless Mexicans) (and Trump has cheered it on) - but that generally has happened inside Trump rallies, not outside of them.

You can count the number of times Trump supporters have started violence at a rally with a single hand. Meanwhile we see multiple times a week where a bunch of protesters start rioting and attacking Trump supporters while typically breaking out in Bernie chants.

It amazes me that people don't realize that starting this shit can only help Trump. I don't see how anyone can really try to justify this shit when it happens and honestly think that rioting is the right way to go about expressing your displeasure with some fellow Americans political leanings . At absolute worst for Trump, it lets him dominate another news cycle.
