And for good measure, liberals who are revolted by angry POC "mobbing" at the Trump rally are just as hypocritical and cowardly as the neo-nazi sympathizers who believe the only response to this "extreme" is more guns. As if these protestors have not been targets of violence since the start of this election, their entire lives. You don't know what the stakes are for these people if you sit from a position of privilege with no threat of deportation, hate crimes, discrimination, and exploitation enabled by both sides of the proverbial aisle.

It shouldn't even need to be mentioned, but the political pundits and career politicians LOVE fucking violence, yet here they are going batshit crazy over an event that makes the average Philadelphia Eagles game look like a love fest. We love to decry violence about protestors fighting their oppressors, yet there is little protest over the violence that dominates our news and conversations in our daily lives.

Good grief, some of you are strange. A few things:

1. I said currently, and last I looked 2008 wasn't current.
2. The 2008 GOP convention actually had protests and arrests, some of which involved Molotov cocktails, though not in the exaggerated numbers you all suggest, in a seemingly sarcastic view on what actually happened. There was nothing of the sort at the Democratic convention, aside from a stupid methhead scare. The contrast, moving forward, has been stark.
3. What's this dribble about Neo Nazi shenanigans? Oh, right, it's the boogeyman the left throws out, that hasn't been relevant in god knows how long, just like the KKK. Nobody buys it outside of the echo chamber, and even that 2/2016 incident was because ant-protesters got up in their faces and forced the encounter. That's the key problem; the far left so vehemently disagrees with certain views that they feel justified in provoking the violence.

If you're going to blame Trump for the violence at his rallies, you might as well blame a women's rape on the dress she chose to wear. People either have a choice and control over their own actions or they don't. You don't have to like Trump; lord knows I don't, but you don't get to act like a thug to show how much you disagree with him.

The "far left" are the real radicals, violently protesting their right to exist, to keep their lands from imminent domain requests, to combat targeted racial discrimination, incarceration, and gentrification. They should know that democracy only works when you do it at the polls. The West has brought this effective means of creating an equal and just society to many countries, as we all know.
