So, what are you guys personal choices for VP pick for Clinton and Trump?

I'm almost certain Trump will pick Jeff Sessions for VP, but I'm split between Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren & Julian Castro for Clinton.

Historically, VP pick mostly only impacts you negatively if you pick a bad one (see McCain). You're not really going to move the meter by picking a good one. I think she will play it safe. I don't think she will go Warren. Thomas Perez or Julian Castro.

She could move the meter positively towards unifying the party based on her VP pick however. Despite the hate Warren got for endorsing Clinton by some BernieBros, I still think many Bernie supporters still look up to her. Plus two women yelling at Trump at the same time seems to be the embodiment of his Women problem.

This is what I thought too. Warren is an instant unity ticket, but she is better serving in the Senate as Attack-Dog-In-Chief.

I'm hoping its Jim Webb as a supreme "fuck you i do what i want." One of Trump's staff said democrats are not out of the question and I assume it was specifically talking about him. I'd be ok with Rand too just for the revival of happening. Trump turned down Newt, supposedly, GOP tried to pay him to do it if twitter is to be believed.

Should probably also mention: Most people have guessed it would be Trump/Sessions ever since he got the endorsement so I wouldn't be surprised at all. I just want heads to explode with a dem pick.

Anyone hating on Warren is an idiot, but Warren being VP seems like a bad idea to me. She's already playing role of Attack Dog without being the VP, and she can easily bring in Sanders' Supporters with a speech or two, especially if Sanders himself back her up, which he probably will because Sanders and Warren go way back even before the Senate.

My main concern is she would be giving up a lot to fill a mostly symbolic role, and she's already an enemy of Wall Street. I understand VP can do a lot, but that's really at the discretion of what the President gives them. If Warren could pick any other role besides VP under Clinton's administration, I'd be inclined to say it's a good idea.

Because he would look like a hypocrite, and taking Bernie or Warren out of the Senate would be a bad idea.

I think Clinton's megadonors would dropkick her if she picked Sanders as VP. He's not really the type to play ball, and I feel him cooperating for this race is a special occasion because Trump is just that bad.
