I'm not saying Cruz or Rubio are good candidates or maintain logically defensible beliefs, but comparing the devil you know (conservative Christianity) to the devil you don't (whatever the fuck Trump is), I'm sure a lot of conservatives wish for either of the other two.

To be fair, up until ~ww2, that's how you did the pledge of allegiance/national anthem, instead of the hand-over-heart thing we do now.

Honest to god with the way its going this will work out better for this. Republicans get to vote knowing that they're voicing their frustrations.

Conservative Republicans can go 'Well, Mike Pence is the VP so he'll have a large effect' and still vote trump.

Wasn't the original Make America first slogan created before WW2 as a movement against helping in WW2? Then Pearl Harbor happened.
