It is most definitely. You're thinking of growing up rich like "wow if I could afford all those clothes I wanted when I was young." Don't think of it like its a game where you have the same mindset but more money. If you've ever met a rich kid you will know they do not always (rarely tbh) develop the same lifeskills, priorities, and manners as a kid who didn't grow up with the ability to buy anything they wanted. You ask them to fix something broken and they'll look at you like you're stupid. They've never had to do that because they could just buy a new one. They never put water in their shampoo to make it last longer, or used zip ties on the pipes under a kitchen sink to keep it from leaking water, or duct taped anything. Yeah those aren't really life survival skills but you get what I mean.

inb4 waaaah they could buy whatever they wanted. Buying whatever you want isn't the point. How does a person who has access to anything they want develop? It's just the other side of the coin.

Everyone grows up with some sort of disadvantage depending on who you're comparing them to. I think the argument could be made though that growing up poor puts you at a greater disadvantage in life in general than growing up rich
