I'm not entirely sure what Kaine specifically contributes to a Clinton Administration aside from apparently being generally competent. Not that being generally competent is a bad thing, but VPs also tend to fill in gaps in experience for the top of the ticket. What can Kaine do that Clinton can't?

Tim Kaine was a really good governor for Virginia. He did an amazing job nursemaiding the budget process during the economic downturn in 2008/2009. When he ran for Senate, he was the only democrat I've ever voted for.

People seem to think four years of trump is reversible when in fact his Supreme Court pick(s) are going to have a negative effect on policy for a good 50 years.

Fixed it for you. Supreme Court picks will definitely span a generation of Americans. If it looks like Trump is going to lose in November, I fully expect the GOP to get off their collective asses and push for Obama's Merrick Garland before Clinton gets in. All because they would settle for a centrist over a liberal. That's how serious it is.

I been speaking about the corruption of the DNC for a long while since. You didn't need e-mails to prove if if you did some good [internet] sleuthing, though it really opened eyes finally.

What's unfortunate is that Clinton is still a much better option than Trump.

Also, been saying Wasserman Schultz was done post 2016 as well -- she was a well played chess move by Clinton that was meant to be discarded by this time once she locked up the candidacy. The one thing that no one really expected in the DNC was the rise of Bernie Sanders -- DNC heads expected to neuter the shit out of any challengers to Clinton in the most covert way possible (less debates during primaries, less media time, much more Clinton exposure, early lock up of superdelegates). Sanders came in and pretty much rained on the parade by appealing to the ultra left, Trump came in and appealed to the ultra right/right and the rest is history.

Personally, I never expected the primary process to be a purely democratic one to begin with, so that helps. And that's not cynicism either. We've had this conversation a dozen times already in this thread, but the cliffs notes version is that parties and primaries aren't public processes. They're private processes which allow for public input at their own discretion.

The machinations of the DNC to install Clinton as the candidate expand as far back as 2008, right after Obama was elected president.

Has nothing to do with the e-mails, but will be seen hand in hand as more lies on Clinton's behalf.

Nothing like that bro, I don't think these things at all. However we do know they strove to make it as easy as possible to bring Clinton to the coronation. I look at it objectively -- do whatever it takes to win and all that.
