I don't think anyone is saying this but it's definitely a problem in a sea of other problems. It's too bad Bernie didn't know that his supporters wouldn't fall in line after he preached and preached and preached about how there would be no surrender even when he had that L sewn up. Clinton plays by the same book as Obama and her husband before her -- they are all Third Way Democrats, and have very centrist leanings. They are simply playing it up to the liberal base before they start shifting the agenda back to the center for the Independents. Keep in mind she's hyper conservative on anything military & foreign policy.

Also, we must be concerned -- we both know politics in this age is all perception first, reality after. BoBs should be shat on, because there's simply no other option than to vote for Clinton instead of running about protesting. I mean even now Sanders himself has endorsed and is standing behind Clinton -- should be time for healing and unity in the party instead of fighting for a lost cause. There's nothing wrong with having a movement -- but first the party at-large must mobilize and win before starting said revolution.

Hyper conservative as in advocating unrestricted torture of the families of suspected terrorists? Or hyper conservative as in actually willing to utilize military force when she and her advisers feel it's necessary? Because the former is where the real military hyper conservatives are sitting right now.

Yes, perception is important. That's why it's so frustrating to see someone who, compared to the country at large, is 100% a liberal be called a centrist because she has had to spend her entire campaign to this point fielding attacks from the far left. John Kasich was the closest thing we had to a centrist in this election and I guarantee you the personal and policy differences between Kasich and Cruz are significantly wider than the differences between Clinton and Sanders.

If Hillary Clinton had gone up on a debate stage and said that states should have the right to decide whether or not to allow abortions within their borders she would have been fucking crucified. Kasich did the Republican equivalent of that on national television multiple times. These are not people playing in the same fucking ballpark. One is an actual centrist. The other is a liberal willing to make deals with real centrists and conservatives in order to keep the government running and hopefully doing something positive.

I would posit that that the late endorsement, while not helpful, probably doesn't cause enough cumulative damage.

However the entire primary process, rather than letting her run against just-in-for-exposure O'Malley and Webb, may have lingering effects that are outcome determinate.
