At this point, if Biden jumps in, he'll crush Hilary. He can basically wait in the wings until November, but not after. He know he has this long, but is going to decide before September ending because he had already made up his mind 3 months prior when his son died. Beau wanted him to run regardless, how would it feel to the man to let his son down now? I honestly believe as far as honest Joe is, he's playing the sympathy card a bit before he goes all in. Hilary is tanking and has like what? 3 campaign "reboots" so far? No way establishment Dems nor Biden would allow Sanders to be the front runner. The main hint we got was Obama giving the man "his blessing" weeks ago.

I think you guys are underestimating how high the floor is on Hillary's support.

Remains to be seen. I don't doubt her support at all -- it's just telling how her polling numbers look despite having a great field to run against right now, not counting Biden. People are starting to get the feeling that she didn't learn from 2008.

I'm only hypothesizing what happens if she drops out or otherwise gets muscled out for Biden. If she stays in, she wins the Democratic primary vs. Sanders as long as Biden doesn't jump in to split the vote -- whether or not that is good or not for the general election depends on where this tailspin in the polls end.

People are wrong. Her campaign learned a lot and it's fucking surgical at this point. The sole reason she lost in 2008 was superdelegates. She won the majority. She already has enough superdelegates committed to her that Sanders is going to have to win the popular vote by a non-small margin.

Doesn't matter how good her campaign is if she's unelectable. Reuters has her now at 39%, Sanders at 30%, and it's mid September. She is nose diving, and even superdelegates can change their votes if they think she cant win (See: 2008 with Obama).

Also, she's got a pretty firm grip on the south. Yes, those states will go Republican in the general election, but they still matter in the primaries.

If anything the "Biden Surge" is eating equally from Hillary and Bernie.

Fuck the 9/11 story on Grantland is good.

I'm a sap though, I can't watch any 9/11 stuff without crying. Too many emotions, even after all these years.

Democrats: Hillary continues to hover around 40-45%; Sanders around 20-25%; Biden around 20%.
Republicans: Trump remains at over 30%; Carson around 20%; Bush is around 10%.

I'm constantly surprised at how Biden all but said he isn't running on the Late Show, but the dude is still polling so close to Bernie when he's more than likely spent millions at this point. It's incredible.

It's going to be just as obnoxious when Warren repeatedly said she wasn't running, supporting Hilldog, and all the liberal bloggers couldn't stop asking her about it and reporting on how awesome she would be as a prez candidate.

The Warren one annoyed me more because she flat out said she wasn't running on multiple occasions. Biden still hasn't gone that far yet.

Sanders also up 20+ in NH and 10 in Ohio. Her lead in SC is also shrinking.
