Fiorina looked great but I just came from a breakfast where everyone was chuckling about every # she dropped regarding anything being wrong.

Rumor from from fella far more plugged in than I is that a group republicans, and not just the freedom caucus, have the votes to vacate the speaker chair. He stressed they do not have the votes to install a new speaker, since that is another vote. But Still, hella drama. Apparently it will go down as they work on the CR once the pope is gone.

I have a serious disdain for Fiorina but I can't quite put my finger on it.

She's the emotionally manipulative grandmother type.

For instance, her stepdaughter died of prescription drug abuse mixed with alcoholism. She used that personal tragedy to make a non-point on the national stage. If my wife distilled our private suffering into a soundbyte for personal gain, I'd divorce da betch.

Seriously. I am not sure why but it pisses me off to no end when people do that. I have a few FB friends who "like" almost all of their own statuses. same thing as sharing their own statuses to their own wall. (doesn't count if you share your status to a group or a different page you manage)

Pissed me off that she coupled that incident with her comment about pot not just being booze when alcoholism was a major factor in her daughter's death.

I can understand some of the other guys being dumb or having some analyst that week tell them to say something like, "flat tax 14% will get us the most votes!" or "ill tear that iran deal up!" despite it not being what they really think

But this bitch took the "weed is bad!" advice to a whole other level.
