IMO fight was good, two different boxing styles, a god damm defensive boxer (maybe best defensive boxer ever) fucking fast for being 38 years old, against another legend but not in same level as Floyd, i like fights that are intense like Hagler vs Hearns, or all the Tyson 1 minute fights, but if we see this fight like the sport it is, a "true boxer" won this fight and i think what these guys have done in the last 15 years helped to keep this sport alive.

Doubt we see a revenge , i only see Floyd losing to someone like Mano e'Piedra Durán when he beat Sugar Ray.

You have to take a step back and realize how impressive it is for Floyd to be that evasive against a fighter like Pacquiao. Come on you dont get a 300mil purse from mexicans alone. Boxing is still one of the biggest sports around, it's just not as electric in the big fights as it once was.

Going to 12 rounds because dude died has hurt the sport though, these guys could easily have gone another 3 and if pac won all 3 it's much closer. Refs just need more training on when to stop dangerous fights.

As an aside, Ali's biggest purse was $6mil in 75'. That's like 25mil adjusted or so, kind of silly the amount they make now.
