Tidbits from Variety:
Since the 2023 announcement, it seems Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad are still co-producing.
Wes Ball, the director of “The Maze Runner” trilogy and last summer’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” remains attached to helm the adaptation. Ball is also a producer, along with Joe Hartwick Jr., under their Oddball Entertainment banner.
The initial announcement also disclosed that the film would be co-financed by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Nintendo, with Nintendo providing the majority of financial backing.
Casting and story details remain in the works.

ye she's Jules from Euphoria which is where 90% of everyone knows her. also had roles in the newest Hunger Games + Kinds of Kindness, did a decent horror movie in Cuckoo, will be one of the leads in Amazon's Blade Runner show along with Michelle Yeoh. but mostly Euphoria.

Filming began this week in New Zealand and first story details have been released.
"A live-action adaptation of the video game franchise. 'The Legend of Zelda' follows Link, a young warrior destined to protect the magical kingdom of Hyrule from the forces of darkness. The land is under threat from Ganon, a ruthless warlord who seeks the Triforce - an ancient relic said to grant limitless power. To stop him, Link must embark on a perilous journey, battling monstrous creatures, exploring treacherous dungeons, and solving intricate puzzles to uncover sacred artifacts that can aid him in his quest."
