There was a rule change everybody likes to not mention after the 2011 Superbowl, because if media doesn't drill it into their little pea sized brains, they don't repeat it at nauseam.

In the final minute of the game, the Giants were fielding a twelve man defense to prevent any Patriot comeback. At the time the 12 men on the field penalty didn't reset the play clock, so they could just eat the five yard penalties or whatever it was, while chewing 15~20 seconds off the clock each play with a defense using an extra man in pass protection.

This rule was changed that off season. Now the clock resets to what it was in the event of a 12 man on the field penalty.

Of course, nobody ever mentions this, but they'll mention eligible/ineligible (which was actually clever) forever now.

I could have won those superbowls at QB for the Giants. Their defense was on beast mode. All eli had to do is throw the ball up and someone would catch it on their helmet. The giants cheating thing is just a reflection of how people are attacking the pats cause they won and continue to win.


If you take unbiased mathematiciand who dont know anything about football or their players. Teach them about the game, then show them the W-L records of Brady Manning and Marino, along with SB wins, records, SB appearances, interception:touchdown ratios and other various related stats.
