Think the bigger question is how hard the Colts are going to rape themselves on Luck's contract.

Newton isn't worth that contract. I don't get the mentality at all, yes the league is QB starved as it is but why pay out for mediocrity? Pay him what he deserves (half that, maybe less) and spend it on other players. Give yourself a chance...
The market value of a QB is vastly inflated compared to every other position. 20 mil a year (likely quite a bit less since we don't know the specifics) for an above replacement starter is a good deal.
Somewhere in vegas. Cutler and cam newton are laughing their balls off
it is so crazy to me that flacco got offered a 5 year 96 million dollar deal in 2012 and said 'NO FUCK YOU WATCH ME M8' and went out and won the superbowl
i kinda wanna see one of these guys turn a deal down like that
As much as I want to shit on Flacco, dude has proven he's a fucking G time and time again when it comes to playoff/championship games. I'd say he was a solid investment for the Ravens, he was putting up numbers before the big deal though, not sure we'll see that out of Scam.
Also, in Cam's defense, the offense has been pretty shit since he's been there. This year, he'll have at least 3 legit targets plus what should be a good run game. OLine needs to come through big
Seattle should of finished Wilson's contract after the Superbowl. Every week just gets keeping worse and worse for them.
I wonder if they want to give him a contract that lets them spend money elsewhere to win with him, or if they actually aren't scared of losing him and think other guys could bring that team to championships.
If Cam is worth 20 M a year, Seattle was stupid not to just get a 20M-a-year deal done already. Seeing that deal demonstrates how much more than that other teams would be willing to throw at Wilson. The Jets and Buffalo would throw contracts more enticing than that at Wilson in a heart beat. Dude is a Superbowl winning QB not even in his prime yet. Seattle is retarded lol. Their salary cap just gets more fucked up every week they wait.
Which is weird because I feel like Joe Flacco is marketable as fuck, but apparently professionals feel otherwise. I don't know any other QB who America could relate to more. Handlebar mustache, Looks like he just chills and drinks beer, Name is fucking JOE. What more do you want?
New England Patriots Drone Program A Source Of Mystery And Concern

The best thing about being a Patriots fan is when your team gets in a rivalry with another team, you don't just beat them over and over and over again. Instead the Patriots own them so bad that their fans (Jets, Steelers, Broncos) have a complete mental breakdown, lose all sense of reality, go full retard, and become stark-raving mad tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists.
Patriots have the most entertaining haters ever.
Baltimore is a small market, and he's a pretty quiet guy. He's not a big fan of the media and he's not that wild of a person either. When reporters asked him during Superbowl media day what he liked to do he said "mostly I hang out in my basement". He was seen riding the public transit bus in Baltimore days before signing his $120 million deal. He'd just as soon not deal with the media and I'm sure the team is fine with that especially after having a guy like Ray Lewis and now they can't eally keep Suggs from the media either so.
But more than anything it's just market size. There's no money in trying to push a QB of one of the smallest fan bases at least geographically. We're squeezed between the Skins and Eagles, man. The entire western part of MD is Steelers country because western MD is basically west virginia. The north eastern shore is half Eagles fans 'cause Delaware. Baltimore's market is basically just Baltimore.
I guess being this far west has left me out of touch with back east. I would have assumed that after the 2 superbowls the ravens were a much more popular team over there. The quote from Joe is one of my favorites, the chillin' in the basement one, drinking beer is just what I picture him doing when he's down there.
Yeah, small market QBs aren't marketable.
Yeah, it isn't like other parts of the country really. There's no room for a bandwagon. Around Seattle you've got like 3 states worth of people who dont even have a team so of course when they're good again you get new folks. But the Ravens are completely surrounded by much bigger and more storied franchises. Skins are huge in half of Maryland. You just can't take that crowd away no matter how bad their team is, they hate the Ravens the way we hate the Nationals.
I live in Maryland a 1 hour drive from Baltimore and I live in 100% Redskins country. Mall next to me has a Redskins team store and you could hardly find Ravens gear in the entire mall. That's just how it is
There isn't any type of love for a team like that here in Phoenix. I remember team stores in malls back in Chicago, no such thing here in Phoenix. Cardinals seem to be making a raise though so I would suspect places like that to possible pop up here in the next few years. Storied franchise is a good way to put it.
