Tom Brady's presence in championship games fucking eclipses every other NFL player of his era. In fact, based on that presence, you can rightly call 2001~2015 "The Tom Brady Era."

Didn't Schefter go on earlier in the week and defend Mort? I would think that's why Mort agreed. But then his source got named so the dialogue of the interview would have obviously taken a turn that Mort couldn't take if he wanted to still be able to report in the NFL.

To this point, the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to keep the documents from Brady’s appeal hearing sealed. However, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the NFLPA only agreed to keep the transcript under seal at the urging of the league. And Judge Berman wrote on Friday that he won’t be inclined to keep anything a secret if the case ends up in federal court.

I don't really think at this point the NFL is just going to tuck its tail and run from the fiasco its caused, but its interesting that it was the NFL that wanted the details of the appeal sealed. Sounds to me like they're the ones with things to hide.
