"Under oath" should be considered A Big Deal (except to NFL, I guess). Should be to a federal judge too. Why they likely did it
4:49 PM - 4 Aug 2015
Judge releasing this to the public makes me think he's siding with Brady. That would go along with the speculating that his warning to make documents public was a warning to the league to settle, since it was the league that wanted them sealed.
Roger Goodell Made Tom Brady Seem Dishonest In Deflategate Appeal Ruling
Everybody, from the Ravens and Colts, to Goodell and his cronies, are now proven liars, while Brady, who is accused of lying by these liars, voluntarily went under oath and flat out denied all charges and all wrong doing, and has yet to be caught in any falsehoods, after 6 months of intense, endless questioning.
Kessler interviewing Ted Snyder,
Who was the Dean of the Yale School of Management, who is one of the leading experts in statistical analysis in the world
lolololololQ. Dean Snyder, last question. What is your
2 bottom-line takeaway from the work of the -- the
3 statistical work of Exponent?
4 A. It's just not -- it's partly the setting,
5 it's partly the impromptu protocol, but it's also
6 the work that they have done statistically. The
7 combination is it's not something that leads to
8 reliable conclusions.
9 And, certainly, it's certainly not the kind
10 of scientific work that I would be comfortable with
11 reaching judgments about people. I'm in a very
12 different situation from the Commissioner, but these
13 are -- these are not reliable findings.
This fucking league office. Full of a bunch of Jet fan malcontents. COMPLETE LOSERS.

Now I understand why the NFL wanted the transcript of the appeal hearing sealed. Just a 10-hour display of boobery...
Michael McCann@McCannSportsLaw
Tom Brady's transcript may be just enough for him to beat NFL in court. My @SInow legal take: si.com/nfl/2015/08/04…
---------
The FACT that Roger Goodell BLATANTLY LIED to the American public about Brady's answers when he THOUGHT the transcripts would remain sealed is DAMNING.
Brady will be starting week #1, and Goodell might be the one sitting on the bench, looking through the classifieds. This is going to be horrible news for the NFL and I would imagine owners are going to be PISSED.

I thought it was Smeargate? Maybe that's a local thing like the Razor
just out of curiosity, are people saying he lied about Brady destroying his phone? he didn't. I even posted in this thread after it first came out he told his assistant to take care of it. yall captain yesterdaying
No, he lied about one of Brady's answers regarding his calls with the equipment manager.
This is what he told Murika after the transcripts were sealed, and now the transcripts reveal that Tom Brady flat out told him they discussed the news scandal. Roger blatantly fucking lied about it“Mr. Brady testified that he was unable to recall any specifics of [his] discussions [with John Jastremski] and he suggested that their principle subject was the preparation of game balls for the Super Bowl. But the need for such frequent communication beginning on January 19 is difficult to square with the fact that there apparently was no need to communicate by cellphone with Mr. Jastremski or to meet personally with him in the ‘QB room’ during the preceding twenty weeks of the regular season and post-season prior to the AFC Championship Game. . . . The sharper contrast between the almost complete absence of communications through the AFC Championship Game and the extraordinary volume of communications during the three days following the AFC Championship Game undermines any suggestion that the communications addressed only preparation of footballs for the Super Bowl rather than the tampering allegations and their anticipated responses to inquiries about the tampering.”
Within that quote, the ruling drops the following footnote: “In response to the question, ‘Why were you talking to Mr. Jastremski in those two weeks?,’ Mr. Brady responded, in sum: ‘I think most of the conversations centered around breaking in the balls.’ For reasons noted, I do not fully credit that testimony.”

Roger needs to go already.
The only worry for Patriot fans now, I think, is that the judge could believe Tom Brady 100% but rule that, despite that, Article 46 gives the NFL Commish the right to punish anybody for anything, including complete and utter bullshit.
Q. Now, just to ask, do you recall how you played in the second half of that game?
A. We played good. We played really well.
Q. Is it correct that at least your statistics of passing a touchdown were better in the second half after the ball was raised to 13 by the referees? You didn't know it, than they were in the first half?
A. Yeah.
Q. Was that correct?
A. What did I do? I don't --
Q. Okay. You don't focus on your own statistics; what do you focus on in the game?
A. Whether we win or lose.
Q. Yes, okay.
The fucking GOAT. Only ingrates despise this man.
Best quote I've seen from reddit so far, from a Giants fan:
"the only thing that would have made this better would be if some where in here Brady was quoted as saying he needs to get going because he has to prepare for week 1"
More ownage:
Kessler: Sorry. Okay, the text, when he's writing to his fiancé Panda and he says, "I just mentioned some of the balls. They are supposed to be 13. They were, like, 16." Do you see that?
Wells: Yes.
Kessler: Now, 13 would be within the legal limit, right?
Wells: Yes.
Kessler: So what he was saying here, he thought the balls were supposed to be 13, not lower than the legal limit? That's what he wrote, right?
Wells: That's what he wrote.
Kessler: Right. Do you have any reason to think why he would lie to his fiancé about this subject after the Jets game? What would be his motive?
Wells: I didn't say he lied to his fiancé.
Kessler: Okay. So then, you believe that Mr. Jastremski truthfully told his fiancé that he was trying to get the balls to 13 and they came out 16, right? That was a truthful statement, you believe?
Wells: Yes.
Kessler: Okay. And if he was trying to get them to 13, that was not a deflation below the limit, was it?
Wells: No.
Kessler: Okay, thank you.
Seems as if there was zero cross examination from the NFL lawyers. And I don't care enough to look.
Tom Bardy is a baby-back bitch
Tom Bardy is a do nothing bitch
Especially with Cutty out on tour with Hootie
Maybe he'll be good at music
I heard him sing a Toby Keith song on his radio show the year before last. It was terrible and for a brief second I considered that he might not be the best qb in the league but then i came back to reality ope there goes gravity
