I agree with Tyven. Our legal system is built on the framework of innocent until proven guilty, meaning, the onus is not on Hernandez's defense to prove that he didn't commit the crime. All his defense needs (needed?) to do is create any form of reasonable doubt that an alternative explanation where he was not the one to pull the trigger was plausible. The pressure is on the prosecution to prove, inconclusively, that Hernandez committed the crime.
