Idk but fuck 'em
Idk but fuck 'em
The most impressive thing about NL is a profound inability to address anyone he is actually talking to, or any points anyone makes.
Let me put things in perspective, slick: I have said, for more than a decade, that I love the Patriots way. I was livid with the idiocy of the press and fans in Denver who got someone like Belichick-- doesn't kiss the media's ring at every step, doesn't justify himself to the fans, and is doing things in a progressive, educated manner-- and then threw him under the bus for being exactly what Denver said it wanted to get. For the entirety of Brady's career, I have defended him as a far better quarterback than Peyton Manning. I have said, repeatedly, that Belichick is one of the two best head coaches in NFL history, and possibly the best-- it's a close conversation with Paul Brown. I have said nothing at all that I can recall about this whole deflategate nonsense, and have certainly never said anything about Brady in regards to it. My sole regret in the 2014 Playoffs or Super Bowl is that you got something you wanted-- Denver losing meant Fox was out, which was the best Anniversary present I have ever received. The Seahawks lost, and I got to witness Sherman's tears. I was happy that Brady and Belichick got that 4th ring, because the way that team functions is brilliant. The harshest thing I have ever done is demonstrate why a conversation can exist about Brady's place in Quarterback history.
So, congratulations. I responded to you. Well done, I guess. But really, you're stale. You're boring, and predictable. When I posted my comment about objectivity, I told my wife, "He'll respond by talking about my fandom." And lo, and behold, it came to pass. With, of course, typical hyperbole and rabid fervor. I hope, in some small way, that the is a purpose to your existence beyond blatant trolling and the desperate association of your self-worth with the perceptions of /others/ with your... team? your devotion? I honestly don't know what your "fix" is, exactly. I was actually sad to be right about what your post would be. You were comical when the question was "How will he spin things?" "What form will his rabidness take?" But, like Toni Basil constantly reliving her one hit, your tune is one we can all sing along to without missing a beat, while you look progressively more crack-addled, clinging to that ONE thing that makes you feel like you ever mattered.
At the risk of the internet-forum-meme cliché, good-bye, little troll. I will not miss you, only what you might have been.
And here I thought NL would be banned by now. So happy I was wrong.
all you have to do to get a pats fan going is send one little asterisk
Why are you texting NinjaLotter?
Xaj that is beautiful
fuck you guys bill simmons and espn parting ways please someone tell me what this means for grantland PLEASE. i dont want any other shmucks to run it. oh god oh GOD OH GODDDDDDDDD SHEA, NETW3RK, REMBERT, SHARP, LINCOLN, KATIE BAKES, MAYS, AMOS, FENNESSY, GREENWALD, LOWE, MOLLY LAMBERT, JACOBY, LISANTI, MORRIS, PAPPADEMAS. how could this happen?
i left off barnwell on purpose. you people need to get over yourselves
Grantland is apparently going to be unaffected (thank God, that site keeps sane on slow days at work) just probably won't see it linked to on ESPN anymore.
Nvm it's apparently still will be an ESPN affiliate, but sounds like it will still be Simmons site.
Did he quit or get fired
Contract not renewed, "far apart in negotiations"
his contract is up in September and they just aren't renewing. said they tried to work out a deal and couldn't, but most people are saying Simmons wanted too much leeway with what he does and ESPN said ok see ya (speculated to stem from his suspension over calling goodell a liar last year, but again no real word on what the two sides were apart on. ESPN said it wasn't money if you believe them)
as long as my klosterman and cousin sal gambling podcasts are unaffected im ok with this
lmao
lol
Haha
Haha holy shit
so what does this mean if Grantland is unaffected? Grantland NBA show comes on ESPN and... I can't think of anything else he is directly involved with, besides 30 for 30.
at first glance it seems like a good thing since he can put whoever on blast that he wants
I can't listen to Barnwell or Mays, shame I have to skip those pods. After Bill I think the Zach Lowe pods are best.
