Magical WS formula

I hate to post a new thread just to ask this, but both forum searching and BGwiki are failing me.

Where can I find a full magical weaponskill damage formula?

There's dstat info on the ws pages, but I can't find an overall formula, 'cept for the one on FFXIclopedia. And god only knows how old that is.

I tried piecing together the data on FFXIclopedia and the dstat/wsc info on the BGwiki page for Aeolian edge, but I'm still getting calculated results hundreds of dmg lower than my in game dmg.

That's probably because there isn't "one" formula technically.

Basically if you were to put it into one general formula it would be something like dmg = (mdmg + stat factor + ftp*(wsc+lvl factor))*magical factors

But some trickiness is not all of them have stat factors. Some (mostly older ones) use fint which has a really low cap. Others use whatever dstat which has a cap you probably wont reach without brew. The dstat ones have different multipliers as well you have to pay attention to. Then you have to make sure you are using the right level factor ... which isn't lvl+2 anymore since they updated with the big ws update and I don't think it's been put on the wikis so you'll have to comb thru the thread to try and find one for the level you want to test. And then lastly having recently looked at the AE page as well as the 2014 ws update thread I don't think AE was ever retested

Well, I'd be willing to gather some AE data, given good test procedures/conditions. I don't wanna just go randomly test it then find out my data is worthless.... getting deja vu here... Ahh, GEO stuffs.
