I think it's because he was ready to die from feeling guilty after what he did, without the rage controller thing he would've just beaten their asses like he did back in the bar, not slaughter them

Everyone talks about the Church scene but for me what was even better was the disco break-dancing bladerunner.

I think the biggest annoyance for me in the movie was the main protagonist not getting his ass handed to him by the lethal blade runner assassin chick.

"Oh? You went through a few weeks of secret service training that apparently included no hand to hand? Sure, that totally makes you an equal to the assassin chick who has easily killed -every- other dude in the movie and even had her legs modified into death heels."
