keep an eye on The Expanse, coming to Syfy pretty soon, the books it's based on are really good

fuck yeah, i love me some Expanse. The characters have a sort of Firefly feel to 'em, so I think it'll translate particularly well to TV. It's hard-ish sci-fi, with some elements of detective noir, horror, western, and political intrigue all tossed into the emptiness of space.

i wonder if there's going to be a 5th book? cibola burn set up essentially infinite possibilities, be a shame not to take advantage of that.
