Its not the amount of wins, its the QUALITY of the wins. Basically your own personal average determines the value others get for defeating you

A fights B and wins
C fights D and wins

A and C are now worth 110

A and C fight, A wins, in theory A's average should go up so that if someone else challenges A, that person will gain even more points if he/she wins. Its pyramidal.
But the guy on Gilgamesh is saying it doesnt take an army of alts to get that 140+ average, so there is another factor I'm missing.

Doubt it, because in the first hours of the reset he was on top of the board with 18 wins and 2537 pts I believe it was and waited until monday to see who was gonna challenge him and just bumped himself to 20 wins and 2804 total points. Other servers have had 2848 as the highest I think I've seen so far.

So there is another factor other than your own card deck (bonus), playing an opponent worth a good average (bonus) and maybe finishing with more cards but that might not matter.

The highest we hit was 2848 for this week. But if you want to believe the crock of horseshit he's feeding you to throw you off of his method, then I suppose that is your choice in the end.

yup, those 1 loss were used to feed the ultimate top 3 in the end in most servers. do you really think someone with 19 unique wins will lose 1 game? come on dont fool yourself.

thats what i meant by "buying virgin wins"

all alts will net you 2500+ for top 10, but to go that extra step, you need ranked players to feed u their virgin wins. not many peeps will let you win so they get just 10k MGP. thats where the money comes in, to buy that win. for a 20 match tourney, 15 fresh(not necessary mule) win from 15 friends + 5 (or less) ranked win,from peeps without losses, will usually net you enough for top 3, depending on your server of course

another way is you and your friends create a circle to feed each other wins so you take turns to get top 3. we actually have those LSs in my server that does that. Not sure how they gotta do it again, depending on next week's change to keep that status quo tho, someone gotta get fucked i guess

1% chance of real competition tho but i dont think anyone do that anymore. we are humans afterall

Rowena has double 'roulette' rules now.

Swift is still chaos rules, but plays a number of 2* cards now. Momodi, Ultros, Tataru, Biggs & Wedge confirmed so far. They seem to have taken the place of Louisoix, Shiva, and Nanamo.

Plus he's half retarded and just puts them wherever.

Someone mentioned Tataru on reddit, who can apparently drop her own card, and gives more MGP per win than any other NPC, but uses Random.

Tataru seems to be time-dependent too, couldn't play her after 5am Eorzean time. Her rules are Random + Roulette, and I saw her drop both Tataru and Urianger cards. Doubt she can drop the Lightning card she has, but I can dream.
