Well, the main reason he went for Shirou initially was because of the rule mages basically had to keep magic and such secret. Otherwise, dude's pretty much portrayed himself as more of a hero than a prick. Nevermind Rin was basically telling Shinji to GTFO before he would get killed. So, in a way, I'd also see Lancer respecting her wishes.

Tbh out of all the servants in the 2 wars you get to see the 2 lancers are actually more noble/chivalrous than any of the others id even say Saber maybe since she tried to kill Rin near start of UBW. Also about Fate Lancer

I'd say Lancer and Saber have the same amount of chivalry, it's not like Saber trying to stop Rin/Archer was a bastard move considering she was with Archer (who is legit dangerous and actively tries to kill Shirou) and had 0 idea Rin was a good person. Almost like underestimating Ilya because she's a small and cute, but these guys will fuck you.

I don't think Saber made any bad calls there lol

edit: lol I got ahead of myself thinking you were talking about something that will apparently be mentioned next episode.

She was basically going wtf because all his stats were S, and agility was SS, which has never been heard of before. (Well, technically his magic was only B or A iirc.)

So Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches 7: Loved it how she french kisses, and then Itō becoming increasingly dazed each time she was french kissed by another girl.

Also UBW 20 was great. I'm definitely marathoning fate/zero -> ubw again after it's finished airing.
