Have they identified how the game will change from now (early access) to launch? Like will the current chapters be changed at all?

I am intrigued but I think I'll wait and buy it on console.
Ultrawide support and 16 bucks, I think I’m in as well. I’ll probably wait until release or subsequent updates to actually play it though.
Hmmm... so I'm in Chapter 4 and the game has some serious pacing issues. From what I've heard from other Early Access games its a common issue with EA games. Generally the game seems tuned to people who spend 10 hours between chapters grinding and min-maxing. But for a normal person playing through it just hits you difficulty spikes routinely, and the crafting system requires so many materials that it doesn't lend itself to use on a normal playthrough.
Stop being a normie, nerd.
Okay, Chapter 5 and 6 are MUCH better. Chapter 4 just had a long stretch where you basically running through 3 large areas that only had enemies and no story. 5 and 6, not so much. I'm all caught up and ready for full release tomorrow!
Also, the QOL fixes they have been doing have been great.
There's definite jank in the game, but for the price it seems like a very solid experience from what I've played now that it's out of early access.
Okay, I beat the game tonight. It was about 34 hours total playthrough and I could have worked on a ton more sidequests.
Game has some serious issues that can't/won't be fixed. Just a slow battle system, and a ton of different unnecessary systems. Also, story is a little all over the place.
But it was still a decent playthough, middle of the road 100%
Your rant was much longer on the stream.
Looking back at the original pitch, was there really a console RPG shortage in 2015? I could see that being true in 2011-2013.
