That would be nice, but I'm pretty sure we're gonna see what 6souls posted above.

Well they're doing a swell job burning bridges of customers before switching to a new market... lets see how this plays out.
I don't mind the mobile market but I really hate that its so successful lol ._., this kind of shit just keeps happening and all we're going to have left is fucking EA.
And ubisoft!
Its going to be like looking at a grandparent who is slowly losing their shit... You'll love them and remember what they used to be like, but in the present its an incomprehensible mess that is just slowly walking towards the light. RIP gaming industry.
Seriously though EA just like... buys companies, walks them into a dark room, forces them to kill their games with DLC/Microtransactions, and then kills them. "Here's a gun, kill your franchise" and then bam, they kill the company and dump their corpse on top of the other companies and franchises they've murdered.
Bits and pieces of games like suikoden would do well on mobile (army battles, duels, etc.), but I just can't comprehend a full suikoden title on phones. I hope Konami in their obvious infinite industry wisdom sees this and would rather profit off the IP sale.
I can understand wanting to focus more on the mobile market while it's hot, but what if/when it shifts again and mobile becomes worthless? How often does a huge business shift like this pay off?
Suikoden mobile: Random daily dungeons with a chance to "drop" characters for your army upon clearance, once per day.
Booster packs purchasable for a dollar a pop.
The bigger games are making a shift to tablets, minus the style SE is introducing, while games that the typical mobile gamer play are smaller, 15min playtime-max type.
I pretty much have a phablet, but I still can't see myself playing anything but a puzzle or castle defense style game on this.
Mobile gaming is pretty huge. Konami thinks that's where they're cash cow lies now and nothing's gonna changs that. It is what it is and that seems to be the direction they've been headed in for awhile.
I am in the boat of agreement that they should unload some of those major IPs to let their legacies live on and yet that doesn't seem to be a priority for them right now. It may never be :/
Can't wait for them to crash and burn when they discover the mobile game market is so over saturated that they don't make any money.
Why would they unload their IP's when they can make them into freemium games for the same profit with less overhead.
according to neogaf youtube dismissed Konami's claim against that video for the bullshit it was
