My ban evasions were how "Cream Soda" was born. Got banned so many times and they'd keep catching me and banning me for ban evasion. I couldn't think of any more names and just kept making new accounts. By the time they finally were like "Okay, if you can chill the fuck out outside of flame wars, you can stay", Cream Soda was the username that I got to keep lol

I've met at least 100 or so players IRL and still talk to a few here and there, most notably met my 2 best friends over 10 years ago and still talk to them every single day without fail. This game definately created bonds...and lots of drama along the way.
I couldn't salvage my old DoV/AoV/Outkasts/Karasu pics but had a few left on PB. The rest are from Mudkip era...the LS had more drama than the Middle East but we managed to get work done. Lots of pictures so be warned with the spoilers.

I spent like, 7 years of my life on this game. It's like smoking, even though I've quit I still get the urge to play every now and again. I started when the 360 demo server came out and me and my bro made LS based on that "lords of hydra". We played all the time, he was more into it than me though like heroin addict addicted.

He caused soooo much drama, I think it all kicked off when he stole a KC from someone and rmt'd it. I remember defending him for pages on KI saying he wouldn't do that, next thing he fucking admits it and I'm all, errr shit. Everyone thought I was involved but I wasn't. Then there was the time he took the LS bank and joined demo, transferred my account to there server as well the fucker. Then got kicked for crying about not being able to lot on something a week after joining.

Great early moments, Garliage Citadel, trains to the zone, Crawler's nest trains, Valkrum trains, just the carnage of newbs at zone lines. Waiting to be able to go back to camp and continue the 1700exp/hour grind.. the walking to new nations, the long ass journeys. Epicness of the land. First time NM fights, Serket and Simurgh, and Roc. Those are the ones that really got my HNM journey started. From a lvl 60-65 BLM. 100+ people in the zone, trying to get claim and the drama the ensued. Those were the first battles, of 1000s to come.

So many memories. Shout out to Shokox, seen him on here still. Couple old school Junglist, Terria. Man... my heart is racing going back to the stories, fights, battles, arguments, claims, hacks...

Ramzus, Ant, Bowser, Bisquick, Civy, Cullen, Shinyada, Secure, Lief, Renoturk, Stiltz, RIP Arridu, Jrunk, Muadib, Merzan, Batang, Lamp, Hellva, Gadritan, Terria, PerfectionLS, MetalRobotsLS, FrenzyLS, CondotteriLS. GreyRabbits, HellFamily. So many more JPs, and NAs I can't remember.. but thanks to you all, so many moments, hours and time spent. Never forget you.

Favorite memories... Age 12-18. Late night claims. POP, alarm shoots you up, don't know what time it is til the battle is over. But going through my friends list at 1am-8am and gettings my JPs friends and any NA HNMLS to come help, just cause they were awake and nothing else to do. Seeing that kind of teamwork, not much caring for the drop, and just enjoying the thrill of the kill. Worth every minute of sleep lost.

Anyone and everyone I have ever met, the society that drove this game is incredible. It'll never be found or created in any other game, ever. Thanks to everyone who helped me, thanks to anyone who partied with me, thanks to an incredible list of people. This is a small tribute to all the people and friends I've met. 5 accounts, couple hundred dollars in gil, thousands of hours spent, 3 laptops, 3 PS2s, 1 Xbox 360, an insane adventure I'll never ever forget.

I still to this day, use FFXI in occasional business chat, when job hunting, or describing what leadership I posses.

Being 16-20 years old and leading a group of upwards of 18-30 people on a daily basis. From all over the country, and even the world. All different ages, sex, ethnicity, and more. Backgrounds, lifestyles, livelihoods. It has created a real deep trait in my personality and what I want to do in life, lead.

Thanks to BG, you've grown so much over the years. From a small time LS, with nifty videos to this huge community that now keeps us all together in one way or another.
