Sure looks that way. On one hand, it could be seen as "too troublesome" for someone so laid back, but once the sting of defeat is tasted, its hard to get rid of it.

Pretty much Sonic 2.0. One uses their speed, the other uses their knuckles. They'd make a pretty good duo.

He didn't seem to really care at all where as Sonic cared instantly. He just seems to not really care about anything though.

Guess Garou is the one to fight him on that level? Or does something from the Monster Association give him a decent run in?

He one hit Garou lol. Unless they both become monsters they're nothing to Saitama.

The final boss of this arc might make for a fun fight against Saitama. Then again, Boros was a monster who traversed the universe looking for the strongest beings to fight. It's gonna be hard to top that lol

Boros hit Saitama so hard he landed on the fucking moon. I dunno how anyone is supposed to even approach that level. And Boros still got dropped on the first Super Serious Series punch.

Not sure what you are getting at here. Wasn't really referencing Sonic and I already pointed out that he wasn't caring much at the moment just saying it will bug him later.

I was just stating I don't think he'll care later at all(assuming he stays human, if not then he'll challenge him again just so he can beat him).

Ah I wondered about Garou being a good match for Saitama because I forgot to mention but according to the wiki (spoilers from ONE comic):

In an interview where ONE is questioned about who would win in a fight between Boros and Garou, ONE says that Boros in a fight against Garou in his perfect form would be "one hell of a battle". However, ONE believes that Garou is stronger in close combat.
Garou is the second monster not killed by Saitama in combat (the first being Kombu Infinity), although the latter does not see Garou as a monster.
- Garou is the third monster to survive a punch from Saitama (after Lord Boros and Evil Natural Water), but while these foes relied on their regenerative abilities, Garou was simply powerful enough to be resistant to it.
Garou is by far the most durable opponent of Saitama, surviving 7 on-screen direct hits from Saitama's normal punches (the battle against Saitama in his final form was not shown, so the actual amount is unknown), a direct hit from Saitama's Consecutive Normal Punches with only a broken horn as a result, an exchange with Saitama's Two-Handed Consecutive Normal Punches, a fall from Saitama's Serious Table Flip, numerous body slams (from the start of their battle and when Saitama was trying to shake him off his arm), and a Serious Headbutt.
- Surprisingly, at the end of their battle, he remained relatively unharmed and was still capable of fighting. He only stopped because of broken morale, rather than succumbing to damage.
Garou is the first monster to block, dodge, and counter Saitama's punches and kicks.
- He also escaped from Saitama's grip twice (once when Saitama tried to catch him so that they can fight and once more during their battle when Saitama caught his fist as he tried to punch him).
Garou is so far the only character that had Saitama actively participate in battle. In other fights, such as against Carnage Kabuto, Lord Boros, and Tatsumaki, Saitama was simply receiving hits and rarely hitting back. Even if he was, it usually resulted in either total obliteration, like in the cases of Carnage Kabuto or Boros, or just simple defeat of the enemy.
- He is the first monster that had Saitama use something other than a punch.

So on the basis of that, assuming the manga will improve upon it, it sounds like one heck of a fight!

edit: I've not read it all yet but this is assuming this current manga hasn't deviated much from it, I know some modifications/adjustments were made since the original

I forgot which chapter, but it was just a brief encounter that Saitama himself didn't realize was going on lol.

It was some shit where Garou was stalking another hero and Saitama was running an errand or something and bumped into Garou or accidentally elbowed him and nearly killed Garou in the process.

I don't remember the details, but it was funny as fuck. I remember it was just before Garou faced Metal Bat.

Garou was attacking him, Saitama though he was being mugged so he did a judo chop to the neck. Garou completely got knocked out and had no clue what happened later. That's in the OPM anyways, not sure about ONE.
