Atomic Samurai was definitely the highlight of the chapter for me.

I feel spoiled anytime we get these super long chapters though. It goes by quickly since it didn't have much dialog, but it was still great getting that many pages of fantastic art.

Are you referring to Tatsumaki and if so, isn't her sister Fubuki far weaker than her? I haven't read the original webcomic if your post is referring to something from that.

That season 2 image/announce, I can't tell if they intend to cover up right up to the end of the Monster Association arc, or, carry on until the defeat of Garou (probably the former). I don't think Saitama vs elder centipede is a good season closer of a fight. Or, they'll basically pull an Overlord Season 2/Attack on Titan Season 2 where the main focus is everyone else but the main dude.

I had to reread the last chapter before I took in this behemoth that was released this month, and jfc I forgot how funny King's plot armor is. Gets me every god damn time.

I know I'm going to be in the minority with this, but I really was ambivalent about this chapter. The length was great of course, but the battles for the majority of it were uninteresting. When the stakes have already been raised so much a handful of chapters before, waiting almost 2 months for fodder to get their chance is so...meh?

Pyskos knows Tatsumaki's weakness and she gets beaten up by her+the other monster association super guys (and most all the other S rank heroes)

She is in the current "new manga", but we just don't see her as the villain just yet

I'm thinking the new season will be 24 episodes, to cover up to garou's demon transformation and the epic final fight (as of the original "crappy" version of onepunch man, which seems to have stopped... to make time for the current manga+anime)

Anyway, I think the next chapter... will be pretty awesome, and a lot more big fights...

12 Episodes from season 1 covered up to Chapter 37. I could see 24 episodes from season 2 catch up pretty quickly.

Given that this doesn't air until April of next year, and if it goes 24 episodes, that basically adds just about another half a year there so like around 15 months for the manga to finish up this current arc, I can totally see the anime covering all of it. And I really hope it does too.
