    He's just been powered up, he thinks he's the superior being now. Why would he leave? Even if he's deduced its weakness, I doubt he feels like he needs to fear it.


    Also, it's just amazing how good this manga is all the time. The story, the drawing. For a story based on a main character that's essentially invulnerable, they do such a better job at making the story compelling and interesting, overcoming the superman problem (bullshit weakness put in for plot-kai).

    It's long enough that he didn't think to wear it on the final stretch out of there. He could just start wrecking heroes or call lesser back to drain the battery faster.

    He's fairly decent at analysis, he should realize he has no idea how strong the kid is now, there's no real reason to do shit the hard way outside of trying to get another near death experience when he could just wait the suit's battery out to leave them both completely defenseless, taking on Lollipop kid on in a fight is a stupid risk when he has an automatic victory if he lets em walk almost to the entrance before striking since he knows the clock is ticking now, and it would be funny as shit to see the hero get outplayed like that.

    Yall make a lot of assumptions. Phoenix man doesnt know about the timer, he just knows theres a weakness to the machine because otherwise the kid would have used it from the beginning. Just because the reader is aware of everything going on doesnt mean the character in a story does lol.

    I'm not concerned with the strategy decisions of phoenix man - what concerns me more is how they're going to deal with him if his power is really Resurrection (and he comes back stronger each time).

    Well he is against the smartest kid in the world, so I'm sure he'll figure something out. Phoenix man is based off a kids show, so maybe thatll figure into it somehow.

    Cant get over how awesome and lengthy these chapters and illustrations are considering how frequently they are released. Wish every manga group worked this hard.
