Didn't care for it. Just never much enjoyed Purty Purty Prisoner. Though it's good to see him actually show some powers. Not sure how he got so much stronger though. Now he can absorb virtually all types of damage, even from Cadre ... when he got his ass handed to him by the Sea King?

I don't mind these side stories on all the other characters, as Flashy Flash and Emperor Child stories were great. But the underlings, and zombie boy, and purty purty prisoner have been boring.

I've enjoyed most chapters. The one I didn't enjoy was atomic samurai's underlings, they're boring as fuck for w/e reason. But the other ones have been pretty entertaining.

Seems like that's a problem for the writers, not the audience who has to flip a coin to decide whether this weeks fight is boring or not. They started off strong but a couple of the recent fights were eh. At this rate the entire 3rd season of the anime is gonna be these random fights, and the 4th season will be OPM actually doing something.

Iirc, we haven't seen him do jack shit since elder centipede right? That was like...yesterday in the manga but that had to have been over a year ago at this point.

Sadly, I agree with this. Saitama has been absent for far too long for my tastes. Perhaps I am just too shallowly invested in the main character and not his countless cohorts.

In spite of all of this I don't blame the animators and staff one bit. They didn't deserve this but on the other hand that production committee is responsible for all this mess for not waiting. I just hope Season 3 will return with the original staff if Season 2 doesn’t bomb.
