OMG Splat Roller is almost over powered
OMG Splat Roller is almost over powered
Also, trick to dealing with a roller: retreat a little in squid form and then fire at them as they are coming to mow you down.
Really had fun for about 30min then I was bored ( but tbh this is not my type of game both fun and skill wise). And since its 69$ (lolcanada) I'll probably pass on it
Didn't know I could turn off gyro, couldn't aim for shit, stuck with roller, acting like a stealth crocodile while we were in control of the territory. Several games were lost due to people launching to me and getting multikilled in the last seconds though, mehbad. Oh, how do you deal with 2 rollers colliding, shit would always be a draw >_>
It was the first thing I looked for as soon as I got out of the tutorial. Couldn't imagine keeping the motion controls for the full hour.
So played again this morning... Not a fan of the "sniper" at all
Even with out motion control, the target reticle moves akwardly. I put sensitivity way down but for some reason it just doesn't move right. Maybe I just need more practice, idk, but my hype is quickly fading with how repetative this game became after 3 matches. Not worth full price, kinda wishing they took the Kirby or donkey Kong route and charged a discounted price.
Testfire 3 in 5 minutes
Beta is on at. If you wanna try it
There is more then just this one mode in the game.
Man this bubble shield is pretty OP too.
I wish they had done different game modes during the different waves of this test.
Time to put wiiu back In hibernation
I'm bummed about the game. First off, I do not like the motion controls for aiming/targeting. Also, the online mode is neat but no voice chat (even with friends) and the offline mode....is not offline mode at all. There is some pseudo campaign mode and a 1v1 where you have to pop balloons. I was hoping for some 4v4 local multi-player but that isn't happening. I guess I'm going to cancel my pre-order. I was so hyped. :/
Edit: I guess there are options to adjust the controls so you don't have to use the motion controls and maybe in-game voice chat.
4v4 local multiplayer would be impossible unless you're talking about chaining two WiiUs somehow.
I should change that from 4v4 to 1v1v1v1 a la Smash Bros style with a 4-way split-screen.
