Gf never watched the show. And we started watching before the new episodes. She loves the show. And we're on on season 1.![]()
It was great that they brought the 2 methane stoner kids back from earlier episodes.
Carter was interviewed about the Manners and Hardy graves, and said something along the lines of this episodes was written for them and it's about to get a whole lot more serious. I remember seeing the original mix between mythology/MOTW when this was brought back was quoted as 60/40, so the last 3 episodes being mythology and setting up another season or one last movie seems like a pretty good conclusion.
Fox promised a clip from the finale at halftime.
Should go without saying, FUCKING SPOILERS. http://www.fox.com/watch/617202755722/7756658688
Wtf at that ending.
Spoiler: show
I really do expect the waning moments of episode 6 to be a re-affirmation between Mulder + Scully that aliens are real and both resolve to keep working to set up another season or final movie.
When are we getting Dogget and Reyes?
The last episode was a lot of fun! That's all I got to say. Two solid episodes.
This episode is fucking killing me emotionally.
first 5m of new episode, is the villain the patron saint of bums
So... I haven't really watched the X-Files. I mean I watched it whenever it was on long time ago. I'm up to episode 4 now of the reboot. I like it. But I don't feel anything with those flashbacks. Should I stop and watch the old show?
Umm... yeah! 200 episodes over 9 seasons establishes quite the relationship with the characters especially Mulder & Scully.
Not that we should read into it, but I see the 6th episode being billed as a Season Finale. I would think that's good news.
My god this episode was a emotional pull. It was magnified heavily by my immediately watching the season 2-3 transition withSpoiler: show
Just very strong writing and acting all around.
when will they announce plans to (dis)continue past the 6 eps we're getting?
I think we'll know the fate of the show in the next month or two at most.
I really need to go back and rewatch the old seasons. I saw bits and pieces in their original airings and in syndication but never I've never really seen the whole thing. Loving the reboot so far!
It's not a reboot bruh
Eh, a lot of episodes don't hold up well. At some point you go "look bitch, you literally held a frozen alien baby in your hands and you're still doubting there's some alien conspiracy going on?"
So many episodes/cases would be solved or even avoided if Scully just remembered what happened in season 1/2. It gets quite frustrating when binge watching the show. If you were watching it once a week like when it was on air it might not be as bad.
woops wrong link and wrong thread.
