Of course!
Saved several sets, then put back stuff into mog slip and I was happy. Then zoned and they stopped working (or rather the pieces that I put into slip, stopped being loaded up)
Once I took them out they started working again.
First thing I tried was making a lockstyle set -> lockstyle'd it -> porter moogle slipping all the gear. The moment I did, my character was naked.
It would be nice if they could furtherly improve Lockstyle to work with slipped stuff, but I guess we won't see any more updates.
The blink while swapping unthrowable ammo is annoying. They could and should have allowed an exception for those.
Another cool thing is: if say you had an Almace. you can put it in your mog safe. go to equip set and set it to your main hand. then move the almace to your locker. and go to equipsets and set it as your sub hand. This way you can have the look of dual wielding a Unique sword that you have just one of.
Equipset work perfectly with everything in any storage (safe, storage, locker, sack, case, etc), they just do not work with Slips =/
Is it just me, or is the Adoulin: Fame RoE literally impossible to complete?
Yeah, seems that way. I've done nearly every quest and I'm still only at Rank 5 fame, which wiki says is the cap still. Odd.
Also, when talking to an RoE NPC, I and every other character simultaneously blinks. This happen to anyone else? Doesn't seem to be causing any actual problems, though. Lot of little strange issues in this update.
In which category is that RoE quest?
Achievements
I thought you could get higher fame, it's just that there are so few quests, you're forced to do repeatable ones.
I'm not sure why you think it'd be possible to equip gear from slips when for all intents and purposes the gear doesn't actually exist on your character at that time. Slips compress the data and even if the lockstyle system was somehow able to expand the data it would likely cause problems with loading inv due to how stupidly this game works with zoning/packets whatever. It'd be cool to not need to take up inv space just for lockstyle but you might as well be asking to lockstyle gear you have on another char entirely.
Looking at my e-mail.

Why not?
You register that gear on the Equipset. Hence you do own that gear.
There shouldn't be any further "checks" for wether or not we possess it, we already saved it there. That was my point.
Anyway I found some strange behaviour, not sure if it's caused by some addons but here is it.
Swapping ammo produces a blink BUT only if I'm engaged.
If I //gs disable ammo or if I'm not engaged, there's no blinking at all.
Can anybody confirm they're seeing the same behaviour happening?
The kill speed of TH8 gear has significantly increased for the average thf, as the upgrade in dps by being able to solo cap -delay AND hit TH8 AND dual wield ipetams is a MASSIVE increase to kill speed.
In cases where you dont care about drop rates so much, you wouldn't be TPing in TH gear in the first place.
Im talking about content you'd TP in TH gear, like dynamis/salvage, farming savory shanks, etc, where the upgrade from pre reforge empy TH8 set to the now best TH8 set is a massive boost to dps.
You need to physically have the item in one of your inventories, or /lockstyleset just wont work.
The game physically does a check for the item. Makes sense, otherwise people could manually edit the data for gear sets (Im pretty sure these are stored client side just like macros), then /lockstyleset the editted set to /lockstyle into gear they never owned or could own or do own.
Even hacking aside, this also covers a player buying an item off AH for lockstyle, saving it in gearset, then reselling.
It makes sense.
