I'm doing GEO AF3 quest right now. I'll make edits to this post as I go along.

Step 1: Talk to Sylvie in Western Adoulin. She talks about her father, and a Communion. She says to go to J-6 (in the northeast) I'm going to assume she's referring to Morimar Basalt Fields.
Step 2: Go to the "Ergon Locus ???" spot at J-6 in Morimar Basalt Fields for a Cutscene. It's the exact same spot you spawn the Malboro NM for your initial GEO AF quest. The next hint is "It sleeps where the frozen flower hangs over boiling magma"
Step 3: Go to H-7 in Morimar Basalt Fields. It is directly below the Ergon Locus "Frostbloom". Check the ??? there for a long CS.
Step 4: Return to Sylvie in Western Adoulin. She will give you the option to choose key items. Each one corresponds with each of the Crags (Dem, Holla, Mea) in the Middle Lands. Each one has a level associated with it. Holla is 109, Dem, 125, and the blank entry is actually Mea, which is 135.
Step 5: I personally killed the Lv. 109 NM (a BRD Ghost NM) I was able to take it down with Aero easily after a few tries figuring out a weakness. You get a key item "Pale Azure Cloth" after defeating the NM
Step 6: Return to Sylvie, who prompts you go visit Wescolina in Western Adoulin. She will give you a key item "Treatise on Azimuth Clothcraft" Wescolina then prompts you to visit a Clothcraft master in Selbina, but doesn't give a name.
Step 7: Speak to Helina in Selbina in the Clothcraft Guild Salesroom. She will take the "Pale Azure Cloth" and "Treatise on Azimuth Clothcraft" key items and instruct you to wait. (guessing next game day)

Kasuga Domaru:

2 extra skill and stat vomit (and the meva mdb haste forgot to write those), nothing else really.

Yes, she says it in the text a few sentences before. It is the Ergon Locus ??? that you pop the ameratat at near waypoint 2. Then from there you'll go to Frostbloom and there is a ??? under the cliff. Then she has you take crystals to the Telepoint soils.

So both new unity only have 228 skill but this one seems good.

Also new ammo with 35 mp 11 mdmg and 2-6 int. New hat with geomancy skill on it for all mages

So just zoning into leafalia gets you a cs with a chairguy and his floating sperm

Someone on my Unity just said to see the 119 stats, you have to make a 109.

mercy stroke only went down by 1, Rudra's is like 2/3s what it used to be

They just removed the strategic element from Rudras so you might as well just spam it at 100% now. Mercy Stroke should have been left at 6.0 and Rudras changed to something like 4.0 / 10.0 / 13.0 so that both would be useful which was the situation before the dagger buff where Mercy Stroke was stronger than Rudra's Storm until it hit 200% TP. I was hoping they'd go back to that relationship between the two WS but SE is SE after all.

And no SE, 5% critical hit bonus for 20 seconds does not make Mercy Stroke worth using over Rudras Storm.

So we get a new goldsmithing recipe to skillup on... and guess what it still uses goddam Ormulo ingots

Ravenous breastplate- 110+ goldsmithing leather sub. Fire crystal, ormulo ingot, gold thread, sealord leather, rhodium ingot, 2 macuil plating

Don't see anything else new in gold or anything in bone though I only checked the 2 highest ranks

So, the good thing is that I already have a bunch of Azdaya's Horns because I'm in the process of farming Colorless Souls for Ochain. I really hope this won't have to great an effect on competition at Azdaya, though.
