Strange that we have two pretty different ways of popping it. On the bright side our method gets him within 10 min of entering the zone.

Tried 10 consecutive MBs
Tried MBing every element of Light at once
Tried MBing Blue magic, bard song, elemental magic, divine magic, and enfeebling magic simultaneously
Tried having everyone MB (and double MB if possible)
Tried having everyone (that could) MB wind on Windsday

We get the other two conditions easily, but we haven't successfully managed to fulfill the assumed MB-related condition.

Did you know approximately what the threshold damage was?

I'm not sure why different methods worked, but here is an example of what we did for first message (Loire's group):

So last trigger is doing a large amount of light based or dark based dmg through a magic burst.
- This was done on the fire elementals at the start.
- Fudo to Rana for the sc.
- Had impact, coment, lunar bay, and noctohelix all being MB in full gear for full dmg. Looking like each did over 5k dmg and took 7 elementals being killed like that to get the message of change.
- Did 6 step sc to get next trigger message.
- Lastly killed 6 more elementals with element they are weak to and got pop.

Yeah, I don't think they were trying as much to deal damage as getting upgrades.

Finally got it to pop.

1)10-12 MB kills against elementals weakness using only tier1 spells and level1 or 2 SC.
2)6 step SC
3) Magic kills with finishing blow with high damage(buffed tier4/5) only.

Only one of those is something we do to spawn it (>.o) and that trigger isn't even in the right spot in your order. Maybe the order doesn't matter? You should test the order, we're done for today, we were going to post how we spawned it 3 times now, but we don't want to be wrong. (._.; )

Just trying various things, my Impact set uses Pet:MAcc and using Lunar Bay was easier than changing around my gear. Damage isn't really an issue anyway, with malaise up Lunar Bay was MB'ing for over 50k damage and these things have 10,500 HP.

Question: Has anyone tested to see whether it actually is required to do a double Light to pop Perfidian, or if it's merely a 4 step SC that is required? It'd be a lot easier to have the mobs survive if the SC went 1>2>3 instead of 2>3>3.

Darkness MB kills worked for us. Tier 1 skillchain MBs did not work.

As far as not sharing, actually that is kinda funny cause some members have talked to others in tell about strat, and also we took some pug ppl in our last run that was with us and got win. Just because we have not posted exact strat on forum yet does not mean we won't share. And I have heard that others have gotten it to pop on Asura, so people are figuring it out by what what we have been saying. It is confirmed can have no deaths in run for it to pop, and weather day does not matter for MB. More details will be incoming soon.
