Nats suspend Papelbon 4 games to be served after his 3 day suspension for throwing at Machado.
It's actually amazing how many has been relievers are coming out of the woodwork to defend Papelbon.
Relievers don't do shit for 6, 7 innings of a game except chew tobacco and read twitter in the locker room. They have no idea what it means to be an every-inning player, much less a fucking MVP caliber one. You gonna get on his ass for not hustling to the base on an obvious pop out on the off chance that it gets fumbled so, what, you can extend your chances of winning a game in a season you've already been eliminated from contending in? Give me a fuckin BREAK!
I'm not a huge Harper fan and I do think he has a bit of an attitude issue but he's also super young and has a pretty damn good reason to be frustrated with a completely defunct clubhouse and a team of failures all around him. Papelbon doesn't deserve to throw another pitch in this league.
Matt Williams really needs to be fired like 12 hours ago after letting Papelbon pitch after that incident in the club house as well. At least when Bonds and Kent got into a fight in the dugout, it lead to them trying to one up each other on how far they can hit a home run.
Pabelbon suspended four games by the Nationals and he also accepted his three game suspension from the league, so he's done for the season.
Also a pretty funny stat, Arrieta single-handedly outscored all the batters that faced him this week.
Jays atop the AL, somehow.

Not holding out hope, but enjoying the Giants making the Dodgers sweat for the NL West. If the collapse does occur, I will probably be hammered sunday night celebrating it.
Cespedes leaves after taking a pitch in the left hand
BK is crying somewhere
Jays clinched the AL East
I'm happy for Donaldson. I was pissed when the A's traded him this offseason, so glad to see him go beast mode.
Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion combined alone have more home runs than the Atlanta Braves, and I'm pretty sure they're only a couple homers behind the Marlins as well.
It's comical how good they, and Donaldson specifically, have been.
