They also started taking selfies after the announcer at the park asked the people in attendance to take selfies and send them with a hashtag, so they were being made fun of for doing exactly what they were asked to do. Those commentators were dicks choosing to pick on them for no reason.

it's a measure based on IP, H, K, BB, etc. so it's a better measure of how impressive a pitching performance is, as obviously an Edwin Jackson 10 walk no-hitter isn't as impressive as 1 bunt single and 15 ks

Did he ever announce he was retiring? From the post game interview it seemed like people were just making the assumption that he would and that he hadn't made the choice himself. Apparently his shoulder is pretty fucked up though
