I want to sleep.... please someone win this fucking game
Lol I'm waiting for another 2 out solo shot so this game hits 7 hours
And you missed it by 11 minutes lol
And over at just over 7 hours
Wait, the Reds, Braves, and Rockies are all 4-0? Hahahahaha
5th game of the season and Arod is batting clean up and currently the best hitter for the Yankees.
Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejija suspended 80 games for Stanozolol.
That's how I feel about the Tigers right now (5-0). They'll have a great first half. Tank most of the second. Maybe squeeze out another division championship, but tank in the playoffs. The only saving grace will be if they somehow get 2-3 good bullpen guys. As it stands now, I'm sure some BG'ers could do as well as their current bullpen.
So if the season ended today the NL playoff teams would be the Braves, Phillies, Rockies, D-Backs, and Reds. Can't wait for Amaro to be a buyer at the deadline.
Just watched the Nationals butcher several routine plays in Fenway Park this afternoon. Are they usually that horrendous on defense? Zimmerman had control issues as well. I know they're picked to win 100 games this season, but they just looked very bad on all sides of the ball.
Rendon/Desmond are very good but they miss Rendon obviously. Zimm doesn't have a lot of reps at 1st but he was a GG-caliber 3B so I have to think he'll be above average. The outfield defense should be good. I think today you just caught them during a stinker.
Also Mookie Betts good.
John Lester not good.
Rizzo and Soler p good.
Mookie Betts seems like a cool dude. I hope he can pitch too.
Second night in a row, the Nationals have put on a complete defensive shitshow. Loads of talent on that team, but they're just performing horrendously on fundamental plays.
Desmond has made 6 errors in 8 games, and just looks indecisive and shaky in the field. Jordan Zimmerman's failure to cover 3B allowed Mookie Betts to steal two bases on one pitch. Treinen made two errors on one play, giving up two runs and blowing the lead. Two routine flyballs dropped in front of Bryce Harper and Jayson Werth.
Can't deny the talent on the Nat's roster, but if this series has been any indication of what their level of performance will be, I'd have to guess Matt Williams' days as manager are numbered.
This season is bullshit. Fuck odd years.
Cubs apparently calling Kris Bryant up for tomorrow's game.
