They played the Braves and Phillies, who should be terrible, and the Marlins, who aren't as good as people expected yet and the Nats have a bunch of guys injured and Ian Desmond making enough errors to lose every game. Nats will eventually get healthy and take it over I assume, I wouldn't expect a playoff spot realistically.

Mets have a bunch of shitty players injured, Nats have a bunch of good players injured.

I assure you the Phillies are every bit as terrible as everyone expects them to be. They had to have a bullpen game already and it isn't even May yet.

I fully expect the Mets to go like 2-8 in their first 10 games outside the division and the Nats to pass them once they start getting healthy again. Probably in like 2-3 weeks.
