    Southpaw is an upcoming American sports drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Kurt Sutter. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, and Rachel McAdams. The film is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2015, by The Weinstein Company.
    Great director, great writer, great actor. Eminem on the track. Looks like a sold movie.

    kurt sutter's awfulness may be countered by jake gyllenhal's greatness. although fuqua + sutter is gonna = the most overdramatic movie ever created, but still, jakey boy can do no wrong

    I was an extra in a few scenes for this movie while it was shooting here in Pittsburgh. Really awesome experience and it was great to see Jake in work mode. Met 50 cent on set as well, who was a very cool dude. I didn't make the trailer but I recognize several faces from people I met.
