if you are not used to fps on pc, you will get destroyed. People on PC are 5x as good as console players. And you will have tv input lag on pc.

Understood - thanks for the info
Does NAT type really matter? Playing with my GF (on PC) my NAT is open and hers is moderate. After port forwarding she was changed to strict then I was strict and she was open... no matter what I do I can't seem to get us to both be open. Any advice?
Playing on PC with a controller would be suicide. Coming around a corner in PC, you generally have less than 1 second to find enemies, aim at them, and start shooting. And that's assuming that they're not camping, but running toward the same corner from the other way.
Also, BO3 is free to play for the weekend on Steam, and 25% off.
And if they nerf Vesper's range (which is one of the shortest in the game with 2 bars), they should increase the clip size slightly. Buffing Man-O-War's recoil is pretty dope though, that thing is pretty much 1hKO in HC, and already doesn't have bad recoil.
Awakening DLC coming to PS4 February 2nd, PC & XBone eventually, PS3 & 360 not at all
Prepare for the awakening. Activision Publishing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard and award-winning developer Treyarch have released new details for Call of Duty: Black Ops III Awakening, the first DLC pack for the blockbuster Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Featuring four new action-packed multiplayer maps and a new Zombies experience set in a medieval Austrian castle during World War II, Awakening releases on 2nd February, 2016, first on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 games and entertainment system from Sony, with other next-gen platforms to follow.
“Since Black Ops III launched last month, the response from our community has been incredible in every way,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head, Treyarch. “With Awakening, the studio is focused on creating a wide variety of gameplay experiences for our fans in Multiplayer and Zombies that will keep players coming back for more.”
Der Eisendrache, the first chapter of Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Zombies DLC adventure will take players on an epic journey with the Origin characters Richtofen, Nicolai, Takeo and Dempsey. Set in an eerie medieval castle built upon an ancient site of unspeakable horror, massive deposits of Element 115 have recently been discovered, delivering inspired new gameplay and – in Zombies tradition – a variety of exciting plot twists and surprises that fans will have the opportunity to discover for themselves.
In addition to the new Zombies content, Awakening features four new multiplayer maps: Gauntlet, Splash, Rise and Skyjacked, a reimagined version of a fan-favourite Black Ops II multiplayer map.
• Gauntlet: Grounded in a military training facility, Gauntlet plays up the core philosophy of Treyarch’s classic three lane map structure with distinct variety in visuals and gameplay. Each of the three primary lanes has a unique environment as players battle through a sprawling jungle, sub-zero arctic zone and rainy urban cityscape.
• Splash: Set in an abandoned water theme park, this vibrant and playful map delivers an imaginative environment complete with waterslides, a wrecked pirate ship and a lazy river ride that winds through a fantastical forgotten city. Splash is designed to drive an open flow of combat, including plenty of opportunities for underwater gameplay.
• Rise: Set in the snowy outskirts of Zurich, Rise is a Coalescence Corporation construction project for a massive subterranean research campus. The design of the map caters to a mix of classic Call of Duty cover combat alongside strategic core movement opportunities, with each section of the map offering distinctly different styles of gameplay.
• Skyjacked: Set on a security VTOL in the clouds over urban Zurich, Skyjacked is a reimagined version of the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map Hijacked and retains the same fast and frenetic gameplay from one of the most popular maps in Call of Duty history, but with a twist. Skyjacked gives players the opportunity to explore the map in a variety of new ways thanks to the all-new core movement system in Black Ops III.
Why is the guy that introduces it trying to sell it so hard haha. Comes off so douchey.
Anyways. I really liked Hijacked, I'm glad they're bringing that back and the Zombies map looks good for once.
I wish I could find an explanation of things you can do in the zombies mode. Especially the giant. Everytime I google "black ops 3 the giant objectives, strategy, or tasks" I get fucking gameplay commentaries.
"Black Ops 3 giant zombies" brings up the wikia explanation
Add "walkthrough" After that to get in depth information
I have been to that website.
Only walkthrough on page is link to video for BO2.
What is the current zombie map easter egg? Is it any good? Or is it just too much? I played the map only a handful of times. never upgraded weapons or even found out how to. never got the entire town unlocked. highest stage is like 8 or 9 maybe. at most. just seemed so meh...
The main story line easter egg is awesome, a lot to do but not so much you would only want to do it once. The last part of it to get the final cutscene requires 4 good players with amazing coordination though. There are still stuff being discovered so youtube seems to always be revealing new things.
Ended up getting the game for PS4 because I convinced my friend to get it as well. I haven't played CoD since MW3 and I've lost all of what skill I had back then. My K/D per game is quite sad... At level 17, any guns/specialties you would recommend unlocking first? And are there any maps other than Combine...?
Combine is ass, what's your personal preference as far as guns? Assault rifle? SMGs? Shotguns? If you want to be an asshole with SMGs, just go vesper or VMP lol. With assault rifles i personally find HVK-30 overall good, sheiva is my favorite AR (semi-auto), ICR is another favorite of mine in the ARs with no recoil, but low damage. Shotguns i love the KRM-262, good in combine.
Since i finished my diamond ARs, i usually run Sheiva w/ overkill and KRM-262 as a sub weapon. I never tried LMGs or snipers, but i saw the LMG with the low fire rate is pretty damn OP also.
Also i usually play w/ A pair of over the ear headphones, so as far as perks i use flak jacket, the one that makes footstep imprints, and awareness for extra noise on enemy footsteps.
Vesper + Extended Mags + Silencer
Ghost, Scavenger, Hardwired, Dead Silence, Gung Ho
They never see you coming :D
Right now I just use SMG and AR's. Been playing with the Kuda, XR-2 (M16 type gun), and the HVK. Most encounters have been close-quarters so I've stuck primarily to the Kuda. Weevil looks similar to the P90, but I haven't been very good with it. I will reserve judgement for when I get a suppressor on it. I've toyed around with the preconfigured class with the Silenced ICR and Ghost perk. It's nice when I can roam around without everyone knowing where I am 24/7...
Do you play core or hardcore? And what game modes?
Me and my friend have been killing it lately. We play hardcore kill confirmed when he's on and I play hardcore team deathmatch whenever he's not on. Been using the HVK30 and my K/D ratio really went up in the past month or so. Was ~1.46 and been at a steady 1.9 the past month or so. Almost always I'm the top scorer, and if not I'm at least second. Dashiznit961 if you're on xbox one
Edit. Grip/quickdraw/stock with ghost/fast hands/hardwired and a grenade. Have the same class without hardwired for blindeye when the enemy calls out a wraith or some shit.
Uav/care package/dart for score streaks. I friggin love the dart. It's alot of fun and good for upping your k/d and easy to get. And I use psychosis. Got really good at using my clones as distractions.
Core TDM. My friend and I started using the Gorgon LMG. It's quite good on Fringe.
Having sent my 144hz Gsync monitor in for a RMA, I'm having a hard time playing on a 60hz monitor. It really feels like it';s playing at 30 FPS. I can't tell if something is wrong with my game or this is how normal people play...
Which monitor do you have?
I bought Asus PG279Q and returned it because it sucked ass. I didnt log into the game again because I wouldnt go back to 60hz. I have hte Acer XB271HU now. Much better.
Since going to 144hz my K/D has gone way up. I can track people a lot better now. Especially jumpers.
Also, I use the HVG on HC domination. Its the best.
I think the HVG is the Scar type gun. ICR is ACR type. I have always loved the ACR weapon in every game but this one is just too weak.
