Not sure where you're getting skirt lengthened from, looks like they just made her panties a touch wider.
Honestly, though, knowing SE, I'm betting it's some marketing ploy. Change something incredibly insignificant and then whine about "lol westerners made us change it" to get people talking about it.
Is it still "censorship" if you happen to prefer the boyshorts look?
You're right, I'm wrong. Less ass, more cloth. The adult babies must be busting nuts over this change.
I can't even tell the difference, in the provided screenshot, but if we're down to this level of scrutiny, then what's the actual point?
VP3 is definitely something I'd love to see. I never played the first one, but I loved the second one and it's one of my favorite soundtracks.
Instead of wearing sexy panties she's wearing granny panties. That's the only difference.
I mean her skirt is still short enough to see her ass so it's all good I guess?
They're really going hard with the Valkyrie Profile cross-promo; first the music and now the in-game ring. Can't be a coincidence when taken along with the article yesterday.
.
- “Ring of the Valkyries” – Increases ATK, INT, and Critical
- “Gold Bunny Statue” – Increases EXP and FOL
- “Bushybrume Cincture” – Reduces amount of MP used
- “Wristlet of the Stars” – Reduces Damage taken
- “Secret Stahlian Tome” – Increases HP healed
- Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria BGM – Customize the battle BGM within the game to battle music from the Valkyrie Profile series.
Friend who lives in JP completed the game already, what he had to say about it:
My playthrough of the Japanese PS4 version of Star Ocean 5.
It's a short (~22 hours) game with a ton of backtracking, bland environments and mmo-like sidequests.
On the other hand, I really liked all characters, which is rare in an JRPG and the story was quite interesting.
The low budget was showing and I hope that if we get another one of these, it will feel more like a full-fledged title.
That's kind of sad![]()
Was watching a streamer, in the bonus dugeon, at hour 35. Got his ass whooped by a the main male character solo fight; he almost instantly kills everyone but the one you control, since he can spam his skills, and one of them is a huge aoe. Spent most of the time guarding and running away, with pot shots.
The short game time really tamps down my desire to get this game, but the music sure is awesome to listen to while I watch.
*edit*
I should add that the bonus dungeon is practically the same tile set repeated add nauseum. =/
22 hours for main story? Man is that disappointingBonus content better be good
6/28 release date

Is this "22 hours" just a run through skipping everything possible and just the main story, like how Dark Souls 3 is only 2 hours long?
Still kind of a bummer, but I remember SO4 being very short in terms of story too and just had a lot of side stuff to do.
possible my bad tben
At least it pushes back my need for a ps4 a couple months, maybe even a year.
Wonder how playable the jp ps3 version is going to be...
