No, afaik they only ever said they were looking into adding new pets in Heavensward and whenever anyone asked they said "wait until Heavensward" which people understood (and rightly imo) that we'd get new Egis in the expansion.

Ramuh was an "obvious" choice since there's a model in game in the form of Grey Arbiters already.

Most of this applies more to endgame than regular encounters.
