2 basic stances, "Moon reading" "star reading"

Switching between WHm-like (heal) and SCH-like (barrier) stances. "We recommend getting used to one stance first before using the other and/or swapping on the fly"

Talking about stuff like Y'shtola's big barrier.

Cards are buff actions. 6 different types. Haste. Damage received down proc chance, Attack buff, etc

Once you draw a card with action "Royal Road", you keep it on hold. Next card can stack with the first card in some way (so it's like held Mudra?). Effect may increase in potency or effect area. (edit: Royal Road might just be "draw 2nd")

"Keep"(?) keeps the card you draw. "Shuffle" reshuffles your drawn card.

I'd be okay with this. The job just seems like its in a dead zone. No new pets doesn't really bother me bcause they've designed themselves into a dead end with this job already anyway, adding new pets would do all of nothing since I'm sure they'd have the exact same abilities but with different names, so I'm not missing out on much. I'd happily take the ability to swap my pets for carbuncle though.

Also, is anyone really surprised half these things come straight from another MMO? FFXIV is a giant body composed of the corpses of other MMOs.

... Anyway cynicism aside, I like the amount of information we're being given.
