At least the trash will be worth doing for a bit because EXP <_<
Dragonsong is nice and that trailer has me a little hyped for story, but I hope that's not gonna be used for a final boss like Answers was because it doesn't really hit a climax like Answers.
Awesome. They found a way to make Naul puns look good.Assize
They should add an Objective Meter on the side of dungeons that fills as you kill trash. At certain breakpoints you get bonus rewards; an extra final chest, more gil/exp, more tomes, etc.
Uh? Aero III *and* DOTs?Furthermore, we will introduce Stone III and Aero III which will be the main attack spells, as well as new ranged DoT spells.
...are we about to get Water?
So Blood of the Dragon(the HNGGGGGG!!! ability) is like a 10-15 second "Addendum" type ability that unlocks a 4th combo ender after Chaos/Full Thrust. Then there will be a different ability that consumes the Blood of the Dragon effect for some other boost I presume. Perhaps use your enders before it wears off then when there's 1-2s left, hit the consume ability->profit? Unless the duration/potency of the effect depends on how much duration was left on Blood of the Dragon before being consumed?
For now, at least!
But yeah, there definitely needs to be a random tome drops from trash, doesn't have to exceed the weekly limit but knowing there is basically nothing for killing trash is...trash.
Not sure how I feel about MNK abilities, I'd rather they thought about GL3 more rather than keeping the frustration that is building stacks for a little payoff (and it sounds like fights will have more breaks now which just means the worst part of MNK is probably going to get even worse). Astrologist looks cool though, but super bummed about MNK for now.
I think I preferred "Moon Reading" and "Star Reading"
Emergency Tactics only seems marginally useful if the doubled Galvanize effect you lose on crits is taking into account
Adlo? Neat.New action: Deployment Tactics
This action will extend the effect of Adloquium and Eye for an Eye that is on the target player to other party members in range.
E4E? Isn't that kinda...worthless? I guess maybe if you have an AOE-heavy boss and each target with E4E rolls independently to put the E4E dmg-down effect on the attacker...still seems kinda pointless though. But hey, it's not a nerf.
"magic power" still doesn't really says anything to me, but love that bane move lol
It sounds like you need ET up before the cast though, so you're deciding in advance whether you want to cast Adlo-Shieldmode or Adlo-Cure2mode.
I don't really get ET... Unless you have two scholars, or your shields don't stack with Astro shields, I don't see why you'd ever use ET unless there's also some boost to cure potency.
There's basically no difference between shielding the amount and healing the amount, except heals cap out at max HP.
If it's a fulltime mode and not just a one-off action, it probably is totally just to make 2 SCH (or playing with an Astrologian who only knows shieldmode) more doable.
