Thanks for finding that Grenade Core, been looking for that for a while.
Been spamming Vidala using RUN DRG BRD GEO, pushing him down fast is definitely the way to go. DRG subs SAM and builds 3000% TP on the wyvern beforehand, since pets/trusts don't lose buffs or TP like regular players do, so he could use Spirit Link and Meditate to get to 3000% quick. As RUN, I build TP for 3000% as well; DRG makes self-Light (Drakesbane > Camlann's), I follow it up with Dimidiation. With Gambit, Malaise, and Frailty, this rips off most of his health. Bursting Lunge and Aero V pretty much ends it there, or at least leaves him with next to no HP and minimal level ups. Of course, we hold it back if he uses Perfect Dodge.
Been trying to fish for Duskcrawlers, not having much luck here. Nothing but dark bass using bait people are reporting with success.
Is there a specific pool of water to fish at?
Haven't seen the difference in the ponds. The bite rate just sucks. Maybe someone else knows a better bait where you don't get like one bite per 30 minutes
There just very uncommon, make sure your using an actual pond and not just a puddle or something, generally one of the vine/tree bridges works. I use lu shangs and minnows, still pretty uncommon but i think between me and someone else we fished over twelve in a few hours.
Sensui GK dropped from T2 Gnat NM Brittlis
- which was btw also a joke to do with BST+PLD + BST mule... Only dangerous part was when it was popped and it did something that was AOE and almost killed my trusts and my 2nd BST mule char. Other than that just remember that it chainspells at 25, 50 & 75% HP.
It also did some doom move that killed the PLD when it was almost dead, so its probably a move it can only use once it gets below 10% hp? or below 25% hp? Anywho PLD died and pets finished it off a second later. No 1h/2h was used. Trusts was just WHM & RDM to help keep PLD alive but was hardly needed.
What are the stats on "Grenade Core" and why is it missing on FFXIAH >.>

Have far too fucking many NQ / +1 lixirs so tossed a few at GAXE since no data on it. Friend tossed a few at GSD for same reason.
GAXE Rank 6 (lol)
A: HP 25 STR 5 ACC 16
B: ATT 11 Enmity 1 DA 1
C: VIT 5 EVA 11 Counter 1
D: HP 35 Enmity 2
GSD Rank 7
A: STR 6 ATT 17 MACC 7
B: ACC 7 ATT 7 STP 3
C: EVA 12 MEVA 12 Fast Cast 3
D: VIT 6 ACC 17 PDT-2%
Gaxe D looks strange. Possibly some strange stat might pop up with higher levels...maybe Retaliation +1 or something.
Okay...
It's been a frustrating experience lately trying to get T3 clears for several members of my LS. To put it bluntly, much of their gear is good, but not good enough for Escha-Zitah T3's. It is what it is, and there's really no other way to realistically put it. When considering the massive evasion and magic evasion boosts these NM's have, it's a realistic fact. I've attempted these enough to see first-hand how important it is to have capped accuracy, magic accuracy, robust magic attack build, Avatar accuracy and BST Pet accuracy. But, alas, it's just not the case with my team.
To demand that my members forego all activities and plant their butts in Woh Gates for endless CP/JP farming or to spam Yorcia Skirmish II so they can continue improving their augments just isn't plausible. It's also hard to low-man these because I have more people interested in Escha than the average low-man recommended setups.
Part of the issue is I have way too much support for these and not enough DPS, so the player number vs. NM HP ratio is severely unbalanced when considering the necessary firepower needed to defeat these NM's.
So, question: When considering the best possible and effective ways of defeating the T3's susceptible to magic damage, what's the best set up? I've taken on the SCH role to make it easier on my nukers - as far as self-SC'ing - but as mentioned previously, the meaty MB's just aren't there.
Right now I'm using PLD WHM GEO GEO SCH COR BRD BLM in my parties and I've even thrown BSTs at them (they're decently geared, but as Sath stated in a previous comment, their pet accuracy isn't capped), but still no good.
I know Pazuzu mostly requires DD and I've considered throwing 3-4 well-geared RNGs at it since the SCH self-SC + MB strat didn't work on him.
if you are going to the magic route maybe you can throw in another blm instead of a brd, with Langour/Focus/Malaise/Acuman and Cor rolls I think you should be doing fine... but it is important to keep your MACC/MATK/INT as high as possible...
You could try an RDM too to see if they can land Frazzle II and other debuffs but I remember our RDM had issues too even with focus/langour
I've been able to land Frazzle on all the T3s with geo support except Pazuzu (haven't tried him on RDM, but I imagine he's effectively immune due to being dark based), but it does take a very good enfeebling set and sometimes several tries.
Well, as Kaz is saying, the goal in Escha is the same anywhere else. Maximize your MACC > mob MEVA, maximize dINT, pump MAB. The problem with Escha T3s is (as you seem to have realized) the ridiculously high stats of the NMs.
This is very noticeable for me on BST vs. Monkey or Behemoth, and is part of the reason GEO becomes very important for these fights. Shiromochi +1 + 11 Drachen Roll is +164 ACC, Bolster Idris Torpor is at least EVA-190. BST becomes a cheesefest because of how powerful Run Wild is, unfortunately your BLMs / GEOs / SCHs don't have that option.
The most important thing is that until you are comfortably farming these NMs, stop bringing more than 6. I understand, especially if you're a LS leader, that it becomes hard to turn people down, but worst case scenario make them fucking sit and watch and get them in to lot shit if you have to. Secondly, as Kaz said, ditch the BRD. Try PLD GEO GEO SCH BLM COR or something. I've never done the magic setup cuz my little group doesn't really have geared mage jobs, but there isn't a single T3 NM you need WHM for, under any circumstances, in a party of 6.
Have your GEOs do GEO Languor/Malaise. Indi Acumen/Focus, Entrust Wilt/Fade if your PLD is afraid of dying. And like with BST, if BST pet ACC isn't capped, they're going to be useless, your mages need to have good enfeeble sets and shit. Can't just be nuke-only nellies. Have your GEOs land frazzle, should only have issue on Pazuzu, keep shit dispelled, have your GEOs nuke and MB as well, in a mage-only setup they aren't just support jobs.
But honestly, even though this content is pretty trivial under many conditions, it's still lv135 content. If you're bringing people who don't have a good amount of CP/JP, there is the distinct possibility that they just don't belong there. It's currently "the" endgame content. Don't have to demand that people spend all their free time in skirmish / CPing, but I think it would serve you well to explain to them that if it's not worth their time to gear the job properly, they aren't going to fit into T3 kills. There's at least 10+ skormoth masks running around on Fenrir on people who couldn't hit Urmhallu if you paid them, just because I was tired of masks hitting the ground so I'd invite nooby friends of friends and let them lot whatever they want. Being gimpy doesn't mean they can't ever get the gear, but it pretty much does mean they can't be in the party to kill, lol.
I also recommend practicing on whatever NM is easiest for you. For us it's whale. I'm now personally up around 90 whale kills, every hour I'm on game I kill at least 1 whale. takes me 3.5-4 minutes to kill whale with PLD + BST + my GEO mule. I've gotten to this point by killing it so much I've felt comfortable to try new stuff and experiment. There is virtually nothing that can happen in that fight that can surprise me, and I base pretty much every other T3 NM around the same basic strategies I develop while dicking around on whale.
I'd say Monkey would be a good one for you guys to practice. Water does very well on him, he doesn't put up Shell or any bullshit, and Languor + Rolanberry +1 + Puppet roll + Pet: MACC set is enough for me to be able to nuke with bird, which means that it will be MORE than enough for your BLM/GEOs to nuke hard.
Wheres My Skormoth mash D:
joking aside I think Int > Acumen unless your Int is lower than suggested... however my blm isn't at the suggested Int level so I would prefer Acumen myself
As always, thanks for the insightful response.
First question though: Do you know if Escha NM's HP scale after 6 people or does it start with 3? And if it starts with 3, would trusts count towards that increase?
I'm going to try with 6 people on PLD GEO GEO SCH BLM COR and see what happens. Even if I have to burn through 1 hours it will be considered progress. After that, we can go from there.
I need Pazuzu's freaking neck accessory BAD, so it sucks I'm going to have to now address front-line DD gear soon. I've heard of RNG's pulling off magic resistant T3's but that's assuming their ranged accuracy and attack is equally Escha-ready, so to speak.
If you had to bring 6 people only for Pazuzu, which jobs would you take? And can all T3's be defeated with 6 people? I know Fival or someone posted earlier his group 4-man'd Wrathare (2 trusts) using all mage jobs.
It's nearly impossible to carry a large group of people on T3s in escha. We had to make a gear requirement for bringing people to it because anything else ends in frustration. While escha may be the current end game content maybe you should add some non escha event nights for JP farming and whatnot. JP rates are insane at the moment thanks to the campaign (got about 44 JP in a bit over an hour in a Woh manaburn spamming CP rings). Also, don't be afraid to spam 1 hours for these fights. Seeing as you're doing two fights an hour at best, that might be the little extra that gets you the win (for instance we kill Pazuzu w/ sch chain + mb even though it's terrible because we all 1 hour).
As far as your setup - our mage party is some combination of 2 geo, 1-2 blm, 1-2 sch, 0-1 smn, 0-1 cor (depending on who shows up). The other party is usually pld, whm, thf, 0-1 brd. I find that things work best if you have two scholars for more skillchains but if you can get two well geared blms that will certainly down things quickly as well. When you look at our parse split it's usually 3 people doing most of the damage and the rest are some variance of carry (even when we bring 10 people). So if you could get three of your nukers geared to the teeth that might be enough to get wins more reliably.
It doesn't scale before 6. When I zerg whale Beast Roll makes my fangs do ~17k-22k, without beast roll roughly 16k-20k. First is generally 6% per fang at higher end, second is 5-6% per fang. So if it scales at all it's very minimal.
I watched JPs do Rabbit NIN GEO x2 SCHx2 BLM using pretty much the same method Fival described (except they had NIN kite around a log, lol). It seemed to be really straight forward. I'm confident that every T3 can be done using all mage jobs provided everyone does their jobs. People not dispelling whale is going to result in some massive "lol". My GEO mule with like ~80 enfeebling under cap can land dispel with focus up ~75% of the time on whale though, so no excuse.
Any 6 jobs for Pazuzu? Obviously you probably already know my answer already but... PLD GEO COR BST BST BST. Frailty, entrust Torpor, Drachen + Beast, stagger RW as necessary -> win.
So far the only thing we have found absolutely impossible with the all mage setup is the pixies. We can down 1.8 of them but then we usually time out. ><
