TH means essentially nothing, especially if you're comparing TH2 to higher levels.
The droprates are presumably less than 1%.
Everyone knows you're baiting.

Nibiru Chopper R15
Path A: HP +50, STR +10, Acc +25
Path B: Atk +20, Enmity +4, DA +3
Path C: VIT +10, Evasion +20, Counter +3
Path D: HP +80, Enmity +7, PDT -3%
Path A seems pretty solid if someone didn't want hordes of gil into Svarga. Also makes a good GAXE when you need lots of accuracy.
While he's most certainly screwing with you guys, TH does increase the chance of additional equipment slots loading which should increase the drop rate indirectly via more chances to roll. We've had three Sweller's harness's drop at once before and whenever we use a THF we always get a lot of gear slots opening on Tier II / III. Of course Tier I it means jack sh!t. And in all cases, SA Rudra's is a good SC opener for Leaden, or SA Mandalic for Trueflight. THF has a decent / strong SA WS in all four L2 SC categories for opening SC's, makes it very versatile.
'essentially' being the key word
to clarify, i'm not saying i don't bring a THF nor am i saying anyone else shouldn't, but it's not going to produce a drastic visible difference on anything in the game really when compared to a blu/rng/thf sub with chaac belt
rundown:
setup - NIN RDM COR SCH GEO GEO + THF
NIN has Utsuemi: San, subs RUN for flash and other quick hate tools (hate reset after every tp move, and often in general since this is not a melee strategy)
COR RDM SCH fully buff the GEOs.
SCH immanence SC under tabula rasa, GEO bolster and nuke.
THF COR RDM use appropriate subs and spam diaga during SC since it gains shadows randomly.
THF can also /whm flash when hate gets weird.
COR Leaden Salute, nuff said really
Nice! Pointless question, THF or nah?
Since this thread hasn't been bumped in a while... I want to post what has been working for us lately.
3 Pixie Strategy:
RNG RNG RNG BRD COR GEO + PLD WHM GEO RDM (though you could probably get away without RDM and just 1 GEO)
Basically the 3 RNG and PLD WHM make this very successful. Melee strategy will not be effective due to pixie TP moves and their unnaturally high evasion.
RNG should be well geared, /WAR since you have 15 minutes to down 3 pixies that have a ton of HP.
Flurry II helps a ton as well
COR Chaos+Hunters
GEO Frailty/Torpor/Fury/Precision
Each pixie has their own pool, not sure if this means 3x chances at body per attempt (somehow I doubt this, you get title after the 3rd dies).
Yeah we did pixies w/ RNGx2 GEOx2 SMN PLD RDM. SMN gave ramuh favor for crit rate and the PLD and RDM were in a 2nd pt. We did a few prebuffs (sam and chaos roll and firestorm II). Was much better that route than the mage thing.
Ok trying to figure out how to do Urmahlullu without smn or bst. any strats would be very helpful. Also does it have a weakness? how exactly do nukes work? Any information at all would be great. Hes the only one we are having issues with.
Just put up Focus/Acumen/Languor/Torpor, and nuke it down with earth magic. He doesn't have any gimmicks related to nuking him down.
What party set up do you use? How much are your nukes doing? we seem to get huge resist. Is there a way to combat that? and yes our sch and geo are both 119 with good gear, but not mythic.
Also can this be done melee style? My group is really reluctant to try since its so evasive but i was wonder with a rdm debuffing it and geo would it work well?
Also for the smn strat how many summoners does it take to do it? and our summoner was only doing 5-6k with diablos yet there is talk about 30-40 k with geo crush, when do you use it to make this happen? Do you have relics / mythics?
For the beast strat our very very well geared bst with 10 second readies and all the jazz was having massive issues hitting it with bertha after about 70 % and we are unsure why. Didnt have a chance to try other pets since our pld went down in that moment, and it went south in a very fast way.
thanx for the info ahead of time.
We have a rather large group that we need to get wins for ( 14-full alliance) and we trying to do 7-8 man t3's but we have to rotate ppl in for wins and I would really like more than one way to do this as the job thing becomes an issue.
Ok if not bertha what?
The first time we tried it with the "large" group we had 12 ppl and we had a geo and a cor.
Got it to about 30% and timed out.
The second time we tried to keep it to 6 ppl so we only had -->>
Rdm ( me and i have crap for gear lol, it was like a last minute fix im normally bard, so basicly tossed as much gear as my bard had onto my rdm, hence no nuke set =( but i was able to reliably land debuffs)
pld, brd, geo, sch , thf
the thf was hitting it alright but the geo and sch were getting mega resists even with magic burst for earth.
Oh i should mention the second time we had it down to 20% even.
Was thinking if i had a nuking set we coulda won... but it would probably be a close call. And we are looking for at least 5 extra min on the clock so we can add 1-2 more ppl.
Do the BRD and you not have any other jobs? If you're bringing BST as, essentially, solo DD (which with that setup you are) then BRD is 100% useless, as is RDM for the most part.
HQ hopper is 10~20 ACC and ~275 ATT BASE lower than tiger. More expensive =/= better on BST. Geo frailty, put the GEO on hind leg for indi torpor and if your BST is half as well geared as you think they are he should be able to solo DD kill it in about 9~10 minutes.
Takes me ~7-7.5 minutes as solo DD with GEO + COR to do behe.
On that run we didnt have bst. it was the geo sch and thf doing damage.
Do you have a pld to hold it or ur pet holds it?
And do the rdm buffs not make a BIG diffrence?
Cause I have bst as well.... altho it is currently a work in progress and NO where ready for this kind of content but i could rush that rather than try to gear rdm.
Altho as u can tell i havent much played it as of yet since i dont know what pets work best for what.
We've done every NM in Escha except rabbit with pet tank as proof of concept, but we normally have a PLD hold and either COR/WHM or WHM healer. RDM dia 3 is nice, but COR can make Dia 2 -> Dia 4 so yeah. And yes, RDM makes very little difference and is generally a wasted slot in Escha. Anything they can do can be done FAR better by GEO and without any chance of resist. And undergeared / under JP BST is next to worthless as well. If you're always bringing a GEO and SCH then changing yourself and BST to BLM sounds like the better route.
Unfortunately, at the end of the day it's challenging CL135 content. If it isn't a setup you wouldn't be confident using to pop and kill Pluton, don't try to make it work in Escha on T3.
Well on Pluton im either bard or mythic sam and it seems like bard and sam are pretty much next to useless in this new area, But i have started geo and bst.. both are works in progress. And i plan on finishing it. I read alot and it seemed like rdm was a goood choice as well but if stuff like distract and frazzle are less useful than geo bubbles then ill continue on the geo path and i Thank you for the advice.
However that still leaves us with a " not sure what to do here scenerio with beating this nm" Since our "Bst" is unreliable at best with when he plays.
Our Main group is -
#1- blm, brd, Mythic whm
#2- geo, blm ,smn, mythic cor
#3-pld
#4-sch, blm, half done bst, mythic dark
#5-Whm, geo, smn ( this one and #4 are the same so one at a time!)
#6 me! brd, mythic sam, relic rng( oh so outdated!) thf, half done bst and half done geo.
#7 main blm, half done bst. half done cor.
So you can see the issues. We are all willing to finish our half done jobs and work towards that but dont want to finsih one and realize later we need the other.
Hence why i am intrested to know if he has any mechanics that are exploitable.
#1 BLM #2 BLM #3 PLD #4 SCH #6 GEO #7 BLM
I started using my GEO mule in Escha with 200 total combined handbell + GEO skill and my GEO mule still has only 5 geo spells (frail torpor malaise languor vex) and I am generally the only GEO for my group for everything from T3 to all areas of vaginry. As long as you have a handbell and those 5 geo spells you are golden. Throw some gil at 4/5 Telchine with Pet DT-4 / Pet Regen+3 and go for it.
Bam, done. Everything except Pazuzu should be doable with that setup. You can main heal every NM in there as GEO or SCH if your PLD is good.
Ya our pld is good i main healed him on rdm and i have ZERO skill as a healer.. lol
Ok well try that tonight and see how it goes and ill let you know!
Thank you so much for taking the time to basicly hold my hand thro this i realize that i am having a noob moment and do greatly thank you for this!
One last thing. Is stone the way to go for behmoth?
