What info can you tell us about getting to T3? Kill all T2? Kill X amounts of NMs total?

Any hints? Right now unlocking higher T2 mobs seems to be random.

Im 99% certain that it is one of two things:

A: (has anyone beaten a tier one mob and not unlocked a tier 2? if so, its this one probably)
Three tiers, 6 pairs of Tier 1s, they unlock a tier 2.
6x tier 2s, beating a tier 2 unlocks a tier 3
3x pairs of tier 3s, beating a pair unlocks a tier 4 boss.

2x #1 -> #2 -> 2x #3 -> #4

If anyone has unlocked a tier 2 after only killing a single tier 1 (your first NM you killed, didnt do any before it in escha), please speak up what you killed and what you unlocked.

If anyone has unlocked a tier 2 after killing 2 tier 1s and ONLY THOSE (in other words, YOU popped them), and you know FOR A FACT that you definitly didnt unlock that tier 2 on the first kill, you checked for it, then it is probably this set up.

We have 12 tier 1s, 3 bosses. There's a total of 27 NMs. That leaves 12 NMs in between tier 1 -> boss.

Pretty sure people are reporting that they dont always unlock a tier 2 on killing a tier 1 leads me to believe its not just beat tier 1 -> unlock tier 2 x1.

People are also not reporting unlocking 2 tier 2s after beating a tier 1, which leads me to believe there are FOUR tiers then.

B: The other option is there are three tiers, and beating a specific pair of T1s unlocks a pair of T2s. No one reported this though so I doubt it.

been using the reaper on any point I can find, I only seem to find them on Big trees or on Roots, Mostly get Ashweed, and Gravewood log. I've also received Incest wings, spider webs, arrow wood logs, and Walnut lumber.

Anyone know what Ashweed or Grave wood used for? also anyone find vulcanite ore?

You need to kill all tier1 to access all tier2; they unlock every 2(possibly 3?) tier1 kills for 6 total tier2. To unlock tier3, you must kill all tier2, which unlocks all tier3 at once.

Tier3 requires RME upgrade mats to obtain the KI(50 Pluton/boulder/beit, respectively). We've killed 2 of the 3 tier3 so far, but no tier4 unlocks, so I assume all tier4 will unlock once we kill all tier3.

Will use Chainspell at some point during the fight and spam high-tier Fire elemental magic. Fire5, Fire6 and Firaga3 were all used during this phase. Outside of Chainspell it has access to Graviga, Slowga and Dispelga. Uses a TP move called Pummel that inflicts all stats down. Also used Divesting Stampede and Soulshattering Roar.

EDIT: Checked Smithing NPC and verified that Vulcanite Ore is used to craft the Blurred set of equipment. Smithing is main for every Blurred piece of equipment (including harp, bow, crossbow and shield).

There are only 25 new KIs (from BG-Wiki's May update page) that I can only assume are associated with NM pops in Escha-Zitah. It seems more likely to me that the tiers go as follows:

12 > 6 > 3 > 3 > 1

Will try to confirm what the actual pattern is as we progress.

The .dats list 27 non-unity NMs in the zone, all with three copies. Blazewing, Puca, and Bucca are the only NMs without an explicitly named key item. Coven's Dust probably pops one of them, but what about the other two? Either they're the pets or summons of one of the other NMs, or they're special in some way.

Blazewing has a KI listed on BG-Wiki but I don't see anything that could relate to the other two you listed.

A few BST can absolutely do it, but not just by throwing pets at it. Need a solid DT-% and reward set with capped reward recast.

I've seen a lot of people running around doing these NMs lowman on BST and trying to tank the NMs with tiger or grasshopper. Pretty much just asking to get shitfucked. Worst I saw was someone trying to use Acuex against a NM that chainspelled, also heard about people using BST as primary DD against T2 Tuiffaire NM using slashing ready moves.

Lots of stuff that I'm sure isn't common knowledge yet but is roughly the equivalent of watching people nuke fire on fire elementals.

There hasn't been a NM yet that has taken more than 2 rewards with Ibuki tanking except Voso.

Also if you have a GEO most of the NM have pretty low Meva. With idris malaise + pet mab food + spur molting plumage was doing consistent 7.5k. 12-14k+ MB with spur on things you can melee.

Are there any other special Eschan mobs? The Playonline notes said that you can unlock addition vorseals by defeating certain Eschan (distinguished from NMs).
