Vana'clock, which you should get if you talk to the event moogle outside immediately after killing the behemoth, or it being dead at least (I think at Heroic rank as well). Can give Moghancement: Bounty, a further (small) XP/CP bonus.

Managed to get through that, but I'm reminded why I normally don't bother with those type of events. A bit fortunate, since I was probably only on about level 3 or so when we killed Behe, so the rest of the time, the AFK people weren't involved in it. Many of the people that were there for the long haul at least had some sense and either would a. try to SC during those periods or b. just auto-attack to let people that know what they're doing try to get the requirements. Alas, the closest I think I ever got was 4/5 Detonation SCs.

how to use this spreadsheet:

the first column lists the axe ws that that first npc uses, you will then choose a ws from the katana column in the same row as that ws.

once you make a sc, you will use the weaponskills in the same row as that skillchain. if the section you need to choose a weaponskill is blank, you will choose "Fight", but continue following the same row.

ideally, you will make a light sc with the rng. at that point, the skillchain is reset. the best option after that is to use goblin rush, which is impaction/fusion. the axe column has the axe weaponskills to follow goblin rush highlighted in grey.

to clear this event, you need only accumulate 14 points without making any mistakes.

Yes, I had to get Heroic rank to pick up the cipher. Amazing how quickly it goes when you're there by yourself.

Actually it very well could be considered against the user agreement.

Given it makes you unable to complete said objective it could easily be pressed as such. I've heard of it being used for things like monopolizing some mobs or holding mobs/nms before as well.

Don't think you can. I believe the moogle may specifically says that it gets cancelled when you're hit by it.

I've had a "no effect" from it several times, and some of the JPs are avoiding it 100% of the time.

I think it has something to do with the amount of tp you're holding when it hits, maybe have to be like 1k-2k or something?

I noticed on my first character it seemed to happen less often when I ranked up.... but then that wasn't true at all with others. You might be onto something with more tp. I know it seemed to be 100% if it hit me while I was running up

A bunch of people showed up and immediately afked, so I can't figure it out now.

EDIT: Some of the people trying to afk wins are rotating nations when one doesn't work, but still never do anything. What the fucking fuck.

dasva, I had the opposite experience. I don't think it was until I was at least rank 5 or higher until I got hit by that and then it would happen really fast once the behe was weakened most of the time. Definitely don't think I was doing anything different, so no idea what sort of trick there may be or if I was just lucky early on.

I logged on for my daily on Ragnarok outside Windy and shockingly there's a group of people here who know how to do the event and aren't fucking it up. It's shocking that there's a competent group here and we just keep killing it. Go figure.

To avoid losing status to Thunderbolt just run out of range, the moment you see Behemoth building power, run over 20 yalms away and you won't get hit.
